Mark Nightingale wrote a piece for the same line up as Urbie Green's 21 trombones. The New Trombone Collective and 10 of the best trombone players of the Netherlands came together and had a great evening. Good idea. Or how about using a synthesizer to replace the sections of trombone, trumpet, sax? Has anyone done that?
