I'm loving the TCR series. Don't like the track this week though.
Had a 30 minute race yesterday and with 2 minutes left and in second place my pedals decided to die. Had to crash into a walll to stop and finished the race in 16th in the pits.
I was amazed that most of the cars made it through the race.
This series is super fun.
bought the TCR for this season, I have all the tracks ready to go so hoping to compete every week
Im running the elantra, first season with it and currently just learning the track since ive never even tested it before.
Car is feeling great tho! Front tires communicates really well about whats going on

IRacing newbie here , got the Honda TCR 2 Months ago , and have done a few races , although with mostly 2 splits last season i am horribly outclassed in each race as my irating is only 500 .... so its pretty boring running races half laps behind. Last night how ever i was in bottom split of 3 splits and qualified in 2nd , finished the race in 7th and with people of similar ratings, this was the most fun i had in this series ever , i will definitely be racing this the whole season. I just need to find out how to get the VTEC installed in my Honda 🤣😅

If it helps, I post track guides to upcoming TCR series races every Monday, give those a watch, get some practice in & hopefully you can gain a couple of tenths that will get you back over 1k iR in no time!

Don’t forget the TCR Officials every 2 weeks have the same track as the weekend IMPC 2 hour Multiclass races with TCR & GT4. So even more to sink your teeth into!
Great job bumping your top 5 stat! Really exciting watching the close racing lap after lap. I was planning to enter TCR this season before i heard about the new tire model so Im glad to see the higher level of participation. I definitely need more beginner drivers to match up against.
Im running the Veloster because when i take my glasses off and squint real hard it kinda sorta looks like my Prius C
Especially in Euro Primetime (Afternoons & Evenings) there’s going to be times with 3 & 4 splits, especially with Watkins Glen next week!
The Veloster with a shorter wheelbase will definitely help you in the twistier circuits this season!

Thruxton will be the quickest $15 I spend on iRacing 👌
There’s a lot of TCR leagues out there that will run a lot of British tracks, both would fit straight into their schedules!

I went with the Hyundai Elantra TCR, First Season in Iracing, previously had done a League in Rfactor 2 with the civic, done one Fixed yesterday, 12 started 6 survived I was a Survivor, Oceania time zone still trying to find the best time to get some racing done in it

Just bought into GT4... don't need another series to race.... i really dont..... gonna have to try these cars out next maintenance window

Any tips with regard to throttle/brake application and shifting in these cars?
Also I have a dual clutch, seems like that could be useful. How would you set it up?

Smooth inputs are the name of the game, I release Lap Guide videos for upcoming tracks every Monday for TCR, with telemetry & inputs!
Depends on the wheel, we’re still testing bite points in the TCR Discord at the moment (link in video description) but around 16-20 seems to be at least the Honda’s sweet spot!
So easiness to drive the Elantra edges it but the BOP is so close you could realistically choose any!

Ran my first TCR race in a couple years in fixed last night in the Civic. I don't know how you fast guys run 1:58s while I can only 2:02s with slipstream.
