I've always loved the Chick Corea tune "Spain" Didn't know the great Al Jarreau did a cover of it - love his scatting (and of course your sweet bass playing!) Keep 'em coming!
Always loved this version. Notice Abe Laboriel plays the lick down an octave from Stanley Clarke. Probably to stay out of the way of the vocal. Steve Gadd absolutely kills it on drums. Just wanted to post something different this time and play a bit of my own style! I also had the great pleasure of playing with George Duke years ago who is on the album though not this cut.
I am jealous of you, I once tried to learn the guitar but my teacher gave up on me, my fingers werent nimble enough. Now with Arthritis they're only good for holding a fork and spoon. I guess the picture behind you is of your wife,I am not jealous about that,I have one of my own. Keep on truckin' , I mean playing. You give joy to the rest of us.👍👃😊
