Conditioner used:
Loreal Paris - Elvive Fibrology Thickening Conditioner
I mixed about 2 tablespoons of dye with a squirt of conditioner...
but you can do it your way & mix it to your desired shade..
Rinse dyes out in cold water to stop the colours from bleeding..

If you rinse with really cold water, the colors won't fade. (:

Cold water is the key! But....another trick is apply shampoo to the hair BEFORE the water! it's easier and prevents colour bleeding. For any vibrant colours to stay longer use a salt spray before blow drying etc. the salt acts as a sealer....it's like when u use dylon on fabric, you always use salt to seal the colour in so it doesn't run as soon as it gets wet. ..... P.s I've been a hairdresser for 16 years! X x

Chynna Luna It once took me 4 straight hours to dye my hair. My arms felt like they were stuck upwards when I was done. Then waiting several more hours letting it set in my hair, holding my neck a weird way because it was in foils and then leaning over the bathtub to wash it out kills your legs. Basically felt like running a marathon. Worst part is it faded in like a week lmao. I don't use long lasting dye like Special Effects because I like changing my hair color but it sucks to do a really fancy color scheme and have it near gone in 3 washes.

Tessarr, let me just say that I admire your patience. Dying your hair this way must have taken you for ever not to mention the pain on your arms but......totally worth it! Your hair looks so pretty. I wish my hair took the dye as well as yours. I have tried different colors on bleached and non bleached hair but non seem to stick 😢. Anywho, thanks for sharing.
