It is incredibly sweet to see Michael White here, an acute reminder of how much I miss his teaching. I was in the room for this conversation between Sal and Michael and realize moreso how lucky I am. We have said goodbye to Michael and will someday say good bye to Sal. Michael shows here in identifying what he was drawn to in Sal's work some of the foundation that he crafted for Narrative Therapy. Jeff, thank you for posting this. Can we have more?
Thank you for posting this. I had the privilege of being there and met Michael White...we all miss him. As a family therapist, it was great to see him again.
How moving to see and hear Michael White again! Please re-title this so that others who are looking for videos of Michael may find this little jewel and see Michael.
The guy in the back is Brent B Geary, teacher and coordinator of the Intensive Training in Ericksonian Approaches to Brief Hypnotic Psychotherapy at the Milton Erickson Foundation, Phoenix, Arizona.
I'm sure we all would like to watch this conversation in a complete version! There is so little of Michael's work available on the web, seems not to be fair for all of us, engage with his work and teaching. My respect to Sal Minuchin, but I really like Michael's ideas and practices. Title should be changed and someone should upload more Michael's videos, we all should protest until this happen. :)
You can find his work on his website. Some of it you have to purchase
