  • This video explains slope deflection method numerical of a beam having both sides fixed, first step its shown how to calculate fixed end moments, once fixed end moments are calculated than its explained how to write slope deflection equations for each span of continuous beam as the beam will be analyzed span by span, after getting all moment equations by using slope deflection equations than we have used equilibrium conditions to find the rotation or slope values, next step these slope values will be substituted in the moment equations and we can get the final moment values, in this video we have also shown how to calculate vertical reactions and with the help of reactions how to draw the shear force diagram and also bending moment diagram with the given loading and overlapping the moments which is calculated by slope deflection method
