    Slope Deflection Method Problem 1 | Analysis of Frames | By Abhishek Civil Tech
    Hello Guys Welcome to my channel,
    In this video I have explained one problem in Slope Deflection Method. Watch the video till the end so that you can understand the concept of this method. Slope Deflection method is one of the methods used to analyze a frame. This analysis includes slopes and deflections to solve the equations.
    In order to reduce the length of the video I have not explained the procedure of drawing Bending Moment Diagram. So I have made a seperate video on it. In that video I have explained the procedure of drawing Bending Moment Diagram clearly. In that video I have taken same moment values as an example. The procedure of drawing BMD is same for any frame.
    This channel is completely about Civil Engineering. I will be uploading videos related to Civil Engineering subjects such as STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS, REINFORECED CONCRETE DESIGN, STEEL STRUCTURES,ESTIMATION AND QUANTITY SURVEYING, STRENGTH OF MATERIALS, ENGINEERING MECHANICS, SURVEYING, FLUID MECHANICS, STEEL STRUCTURES. Please do Subscribe this channel for more videos. Thank You and Keep Supporting.

    If there is no load on member CD , in shear condition we have to write Mcd+Mdc /5 or not

    • @AbhishekCivilTech
      @AbhishekCivilTech  Před 2 lety +1

      Yes. Because it is also a column and it is also subjected to sway

    Sir how did you calculated the values of the equations with calculator?

    • @AbhishekCivilTech
      @AbhishekCivilTech  Před 2 lety

      In scientific calculator you can solve the equations by entering the values of coefficients

  • @mohammadnaseeruddin7654

    This problems structute analysis paper 1 or paper 2 sa 2..???

    Sir, in AB we have two point loads buts u have calculated only one load

    • @AbhishekCivilTech
      @AbhishekCivilTech  Před 2 lety +1

      Yes, We should consider one load only. Because another load is acting on the joint, not on the member AB. If it is acting on the member then we should consider that as well. The load which is acting on the joint does not produce any moment because in first step we assume Joint B as Fixed Support.
      Hope your doubt got cleared. Thanks for Watching

    7.03 equation Mab value? -96+4EI/5-6EI∆/25

  • @ajaytete7751
    @ajaytete7751 Před rokem +1

    6EI∆/l² is formula but in AB=10m you took 6EI∆/5 it should be 6EI∆/100

    • @AbhishekCivilTech
      @AbhishekCivilTech  Před rokem +1

      I revisited the problem and found nothing wrong in it. All the values were substituted as per the formula. If you still not able to get clarity, please feel free to comment again with your doubt.

    Calci lo Ela bro 4 unnay ga and =- 1200 undi look @ 20:22

    • @AbhishekCivilTech
      @AbhishekCivilTech  Před 3 lety +1

      Take that 72 towards right side and add -1200 and -72. It will become -1272. Now equation will be reduced to 3 terms on left hand side. Using Mode option in calci select equation and then select type of equation as (ax +by + cz =d) and enter coefficients of all equations and solve it. Thanks for Watching

    @sarcastictrippy Před 2 lety

    Bro how did you solved those 3 equations can you explain it

    • @AbhishekCivilTech
      @AbhishekCivilTech  Před 2 lety +2

      If you want to solve manually, you can go for matrix methods like Matrix Inversion Method, Gauss Jordan Method, Cramers Method.
      or
      You can use scientific calculator and using mode option, selecting appropriate format of equation like ax+by+cz=d. You enter coefficient values. I will make a video soon you will get more clarity.
      Thanks for watching
