Right. I think the judge should have made a stipulation where if she willfully reports to jail on time she gets 3 months reduction of jail time but if the warrant has to be issued then she serves the full term. Without these stipulations, she can just say to herself I'm doing a full year regardless so I'll just live my life out of custody until they pick me up whenever it may be

And people like her who use their children are disgraceful. They are given chance after chance after chance. And it’s what they expect…and our prosecutors are a big help. If you have no finances and an autistic child - don’t commit a felony. I cannot BELIEVE how ANYONE could try and turn that around as if it’s someone else’s fault, or not her fault. On top of all that, you cop an attitude. What she thought was that she committed a felony and got away with it, with no consequences. She knew very well that her probation could be revoked at any time - which means she knew if she did nothing on probation that would be a high probability. She had every day of that two years to try and figure out what she could do with her daughter if the occasion arose that she was remanded to jail, so to say on the day of that you have no options, is illogical.

And I struggled with homelessness and placed my son to save him and fell into drugs. I got clean, completed probation with no violations and got my son back and an apartment and a job. On my own. Homeless, no support or family. I sought the help. I have no family. My sons fathers dead, my parents and grandparents are dead. There is no one. I never used my son as a get out of jail free card. I do think Judge Simpson could have taken notice that she was living in Flint and given her time to make arrangements. But he probably realized that there was no way she was gonna report even if she were already in Ann Arbor.
State care for the child might be the best thing for her…

I'm glad this channel doesn't do some overly long intro with poorly mixed audio of random clips and bad needle drop music. Just get to the court case. Much appreciated.

The attitude when she interrupted the attorney speaking saying “I don’t have the money to pay no restitution. I done told the court that.” Really? 😂”I done told the court that.” There you go. Someone who can’t speak obviously, and also someone who does not take anyyyy responsibility for anything she does & causes.

I understand there are people who don't have anyone to care for their children. Many people I've seen in these hearings say this to stay out of jail but it's funny how quick they can "think" of someone when they are remanded🤦🏼‍♀️🤣

She's gonna punk it until the last minute. Her idea of transportation is a car. Someone elses car. Someone elses insurance on the car. Someone elses gas put into the car. She can't work up the energy to pinch off a well-modulated turd, even her own.

Thank GOD she didn't get 10 days which is what I expected. Great one OSG, you never fail. Been a sub from almost the beginning and you just keep finding the asshats. Thanks for your hard work.
