The first episode of a new series, where a friend will watch strange cartoons. In this episode, Vicki watches the 1931 Columbia Scrappy cartoon, THE LITTLE PEST.
This Cartoon was most likely never meant for Children. This kind of humor was the norm for 1931, and while it's not morally acceptable today, we just have to face the facts it's a product of it's time. Plus, Scrappy didn't always abuse his little brother, there's quite a few shorts where he protects and cares for him, like THE MATCH KID (1933)
