Donald Duck and His Webfoot Sextet
Presenting Donald Duck’s Webfoot Sextet from the short-lived MICKEY MOUSE THEATER OF THE AIR radio program, supplied by Felix Mills and His Orchestra. Spike Jones, a substitute drummer for Mills, was inspired by this exact sound and turned it into his trademark in the 1940s.
Besides Clarence Nash as Donald Duck, you'll also hear voices by Billy Bletcher and Mel Blanc in one of his only associations with a Disney property.

Tyer is of course a creative person, but to be honest, I think his animacia is twitchy and uncluttered. I more like Seymour Neitel from the Fleischer studio

Wow, Devon, that’s the most mighty awesome commentary you did with you and Howard Beckerman, the grandest, oldest man of the post-UPA Paramount cartoons! Keep up!!

That's how I felt when I chose not to work a night party with my boss. I knew it would be difficult for her to do alone, but like Wilt, "I really don't care." And that's on her for how she treated me. She once questioned me for putting black linens on the tables for the wedding reception instead of white, the correct/usual color (but in my defense, we *usually* put on black linens for *any* event, and I don't even generally set the _reception_ linens). Oh, and she was upset I had signed up for a one-person shift, because she didn't think I could manage alone. I'll admit, I am much better with a helping hand and guide, but come on, that's no excuse for being insensitive. One of our student leader's responsibilities is organizing who works which shifts on the schedule, and my boss scolded him for not noticing I had signed up a coffee service. When she asked him if she thought I could do the shift, I answered for him with a firm "yes," because I felt belittled by her. She said she didn't think so, was all "I've told you not to sign up for shifts by yourself, I've been very clear about that, I don't know how much clearer I can get for you to listen" (something like, that, so I'm not perfectly quoting her), and she told me I need someone there to give me instructions and guide me. She is not afraid to express her condemnations and question me when my jumbled brain makes me do ✌"dumb"✌ things. I can see why she lives in her own apartment. Heck, I can see why she works so many *wedding receptions.* She didn't turn in that night until 12:30, and she had to wake up around 5-ish to get to her six am shift. Tough.
Out of context: Out of character, needlessly passive-aggressive. In context: Completely and utterly justified
Yep. Just like when I don't sign up for shifts _with_ my boss, thus forcing her to work alone while she's already overworked: "l really don't care." Of course, that's out of context, so I guess it's more "out of character, needlessly passive-aggressive."
epic
Quite possibly the cruelest gloating dance I’ve ever seen. 😂
This lives rent free in my head
Jim Tyer is totally one of the most influential animators in The History Of Cartoons this guy was totally The Salvador Dali of Animation
My favorite comedy!
Hi Devon I'm not sure how to send private messages on youtube but I have a copy of this exact recording on VHS that I believe was given to my father's childhood friend by Mr. Ray was just wondering where you got your copy. If you can send me a private message and I will send you my email.
My nigga Wilt‼️
Not as much as his obsession with carrots
Well he is a rabbit 😂
@gmont28 Have you seen the episode Crime After Crime?
He do be liking raisins and oatmeal tho 😳🐰
GOOD FOR YOU, WILT! Dont fall victim to Bloo's emotional manipulation..
Thanks 😁
:(
@@Polter_Obtoratic Sorry bloo
And since when Bloo cares about other people feelings?
looking back on this show now, I forgot how much of an entitled little shit Bloo was, and seeing him get dunked on is cathartic most of the time. That episode with Bendy can suck a fat one though.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
This Cartoon was most likely never meant for Children. This kind of humor was the norm for 1931, and while it's not morally acceptable today, we just have to face the facts it's a product of it's time. Plus, Scrappy didn't always abuse his little brother, there's quite a few shorts where he protects and cares for him, like THE MATCH KID (1933)
Me when a SonAmy fanbrat tries to convince me that SonAmy is canon.
Did you have to bring sonic stuff into this? Lol
@@danielhernandez2575 Well, I was just referencing my own experience with the toxic Sonic fandom. :P

I love Irv Spence's work as an animator. His animations are what I like to call fluid and fast pace. His work inspired me to become an animator myself.
I thought this was a real trailer, Devon! Great job!
