- In recent years, Saoirse has somewhat slowed down - but only barely; her most recent high-profile role was playing a Showgirl in The French Dispatch (another Anderson film) as part of an ensemble cast. Now, she joins yet another ensemble cast as part of murder-comedy film See How They Run, firmly established among the league of “big name” stars like Adrien Brody, Ruth Wilson, Sam Rockwell, together with Spooks star David Oyelowo and This Country’s Charlie Cooper. She plays the role of Constable Stalker, an endearingly keen female police officer hired to shadow troubled anti-hero Inspector Stoppard played by Sam Rockwell (to her delight and his dismay, respectively).
Here, in the latest episode of GLAMOUR Unfiltered, Saoirse shares her experience of filming See How They Run; who her favourite person was to work with out of the star-studded cast; plus, a little more about her career to date, why she feels empowered when she’s performing (or cold water swimming!) and how she stays grounded while protecting her boundaries.

She was sitting at a cafe on Sunset Blvd with her back to us, myself and my big blue nose pitbull. Her companion facing us gave my dog the look and I said, "He's friendly if you wanna say hi." She smiled and nodded briskly. So we approached. Saoirse just started patting his side and he loves that. She looked at me and said, "He likes being touched." That's when i realized it was her. Instant rapport with the beast and recognition of his nature. I thought, this is one of the reasons she's such a talent - she's connected to her instincts. I truly placed her acting at the highest level before, now i say she's a gem of a person. We moved on and she smiled and thanked me for stopping to visit. What a gem.

Not wanting to have people she doesn’t really know to have access to her life is a great reason not to use social media. She doesn’t need it for her livelihood, either, so she doesn’t feel pressure to compromise her values out of necessity. 👍🏼
This is very wise words, Saoirse is wise beyond her years. I used to use Social Media but whenever I go back on and create accounts it fills me with addiction and anxiety, I need it to promote work that is the difference but I just can't use it so I delete the accounts soon after I open them.
I wish she'd be one of those actors who started a podcast. I'd love to listen more to her wise words and comforting voice.

She is amazing, and she is clearly better than the interviewers who insisted on these idiotic and childish "women vs men" questions. She answered those with great class.
It's so much more interesting to hear what she has to say about her work or about herself than seeing her basically having to answer what the interviewers want her to say

Beautiful. I love the accent and her on screen presence. I also do the cold water thing for building courage and reacting less insteand of managing my emotions and going into a Zen place. It definitely teaches discipline. I think AUdrey Hepburn also took cold showers as well as some Navy Seals. It can be done graudually in the shower and as cold as you can take it. I fear the cold on my back the most, so I am not done until I am calm after feeling the cold water on my back.

Social media is infested with equal measures of good and bad. So many faces with so many histories and cultures, surely, they are worth to watch and learn. I think i haven't had much to show in the social media. If I ever come to acquire something to show off, i think i would indulge in it.
For mental and physical health i know I can't do more than what i can do. So i surrender myself to Almighty Himself and i try, sometimes strive so hard, to be in His good books. I love people but never trust them much. There are so many fake people acting out like prophets and i keep wary of them. I suggest my friends and lovers keep away from such fraudsters. To keep a safe distance from them is to be able to detect such predators. Only faith give us that sight.

Saoirse is an epitome of being a wise actor beyond her years from when she’s a little girl up to now that she’s a lady. Realising that organizations and award-giving bodies failed to hail her skills many times speaks about how award-giving bodies work.

What's weird is that, though Saoirse Ronan isn't what some might consider classically beautiful, to me she's one of the sexiest women on earth. Forget Margot Robbie. Forget Megan Fox. There's something about Saoirse that makes her 10 times more sexy than them.

You can really see how good it does to a person (famous one especially i guess) to stay offline and out of social media actively. In an era where we are all constantly lurking, wanting to know EVERYTHING about people's lives, comparing ourselves, barely catching sleep due to that type of anxiety, etc etc, there are such few famous people you can look up to and find the motivation to try and do the same. It's good, it's healthy, people like that are rare nowadays.
