@@bschoenborn Which closed deck block did you go with? I recently spun a rod on my stock block with forged pistons so I went with an IAG stage 2.5 closed deck this time around. I'm still sitting at 460whp until I get around to upgrading some more parts.

@@bschoenborn I had never heard of them before. That's a solid looking block though! I wanted to build my own, but I was on a time crunch since I was hoping to get another event in before the end of the season. That never happened though.

I had a 2013 STI with 350whp mustang dyno. I upgraded everything except the engine internals. Held 22psi to redline in 4th on a blouch dom 1.5xtr. It was a blast to drive. Watching this brought back a lot of memories of pulling all nighters wrenching on it. Props to you bro doing all that work by yourself. Its deff not easy to do. If you haven't done it yet, but a one piece driveshaft on it. I had a cabon fiber one on mine and I gained like 8-9whp no lie.

I made the mistake of buying a 2018 WRX only to realize how hard it is to make power without spending big money and as we speak it is being brought back to factory setting. After the experience, I got I have big respect for anybody that is able to achieve something like this.
It’s come a long way! I remember when I first saw it on insta and it being silver! Next time I saw it had the wrap! I was like where’s the silver one go 😂 it looks and sounds amazing! Can’t wait to see the future build! Evo maybe🤔😁? 8 or 9! Keep up the content man!

@@bschoenborn my last wrx was 2008 hatch. I treated it so nice compared to all my other wrx’s and it gave me the most problems lol
Being close to were he is now, I don't see alot of built sti's, there is a shop I go to that has a few 800+ hp ones an a v6 swapped drift subie wagon. The hard work an dedication has paid off on this build. Maybe one day see it out in the wild

Damn that looks good wrapped!I had a 257 NA with that same exact sound. Damn lol, drove it for so long like that but I was super super tame with it. Definitely made me hate the car. That said though if I was going to have something crazy fun to drive it would be a built 11 to 14 STi over a lambo.
This Car and build is my dream car, id love to rock this down in the AUS. Currently driving a CUPRA formentor, i want to give it to my partner, and move into something like this.

Fuckin amazing comparison. I had an 04 STI, and own an 18 STI. The older one is more go-kart, natural and mechanical. The new one is more computer controlled, definitely needs a basic tune to make it more linear in a good way. But I love this newer version, because of mileage and comfort. Either way you can't loose
