Sir I am working with residential electrical contractors
I had one doubt
For single phase geyser eg 3000 watts we are fixing 32 amp DP switch and 16 amp socket
My question is 3000 watts requires 16 amp current but why 32 amp switch is fixing

If we use 16 amp DP then when the geyser is at full load drawing 16 amps from mains the DP Switch may think it faulty and turn it off, But for 32 amps it may not. But the question arises then the geyser may draw 32 amps and will not trip, not so during any fault the fault current will be in kilo amps which will immediately pop the breaker.

Sir aap ne bataya ki ct & pt ka use high current & high voltage ko measure karne k liye hota h to inke dwara current & voltage ko down kyun kiya ja raha hai.

CT aur PT ka use khali protection and metering ke liye use karte hai voltage step up aur down karne ke liye power/ auto transformer use karte hai aur hume desired voltage nhi milega in ct and pt coz of lesser turns jaise jaise turns badega to increase voltage waise insulation badega aur size inc hoga.
