  • This is not a test video but a first exclusive look at the Lee Cougan Crosstrail Trail bike. It's not an e-bike, but that's ok because this bike has geometry that is similar to an Enduro bike from 2014. The use of a Fox 34 fork also underlines the intended use of this bike. It takes normal cross country tyres but it can also accept up to 2.4" Kenda Enduro tyres. It has 120mm of travel and a reinforced bottom bracket area, so it is designed to take punishment.
Coming from the left rather than the right, where the brand starts with a lightweight bike and goes heavier, seems like an interesting take on bike construction. The top end version costs around €8000 with carbon wheels and a SRAM XX electronic shift system.
Weight, this bike weighs an astounding 10KG, which makes Enduro MTB bikes look heavy, yet it can do similar things.
The rear suspension uses flex stays and continues the trend in removing a pivot on the rear triangle and using the characteristics of carbon instead.
If there are good views on this video and lots of likes we will get one in to take it for a trail test, as we didn't have time at the Bike Connection Agency event.
