As a US fan, I'm really glad that the team I fell in love with was Everton. Just something about them that speaks to me more than any others; a real heart and soul and connection I didn't feel anywhere else when I was starting to get into the sport. I hope that one day I'm able to go for the Derby and truly experience The People's Club the way they were meant to be; among the people

Everton fan from italy since the 80s. I am Italian from Florence , I support Fiorentina and I remember the amazing atmosphere at goodison park in the second leg of our Europa League clash. Best fans and best support I have ever seen . I met friendly guys, either away in Liverpool or in Florence. It confirmed I was right to chose Everton as my second club when I was a kid.

Watching this in 2022 after our current lot (just about!) survived relegation! One of the things I love about Everton is how adversity brings our fans closer. I've never seen our supporters more united than we are right now. That's what sport should be about. None of this nonsense you hear online about how many trophies you're team's won that year - should be about people coming together & making each other smile.
I love you Toffees. My granddad made me red. So many cousins are blue... But i want your lads to win and win for merseyside.

It was a shame, but 2013-2014 (I've only been a fan since 2006) was the most fun season I've ever had being an Everton fan, watching Barkley blossom with the rest of the fellas is something I'll never forget. I'm hoping Marco Silva replicates that feeling this year.

Last of the mohicans relates to the last of the native americans after Americans completely took over there homelad. Meaning Everton are still the same type of club that we was in the 80s before every other club has been taken over by franchising and big money investors

I don't understand the point with this club. Of course everyone has the right to start a club and do as well as possible, but I don't understand why so many people follow this team. Where is the charm? Sure blue is a nice color and there has been some cool players in the club (Ferguson, Southall, Whiteside, Sheedy, Newell, Rideout, Rooney to name a few), but the team seems charmless and without any appeal to me. Like Middlesboro? Or Luton or something. Then again I guess it is good for Liverpool to have a local rival and a derby. Also good for those who support Everton to have Liverpool. I am not a supporter of LFC though. I support someone else in blue who are more successfull...
The whole point is that fans like you will never understand fans like us. A club like Everton is beyond your 'Sky' mentality. And there is no team who play in Blue who has been more successful than Everton in England.
The fact you see Newell as one of our cool players says a lot. It's like me listing Pat Nevin as one of your greats. Typical Chelsea; football's equivalent of Michael Carroll.
Without Everton FC there would be no LFC - look it up you thickheaded plank.

Liverpool is the real people's club. Everton's "people" are only about 20% of the Liverpool residents. This is a mathematical fact. If Everton have a 50k ground, they will be in trouble trying to fill the seats.
