@SebekGamer if you can live there and you are not dependent on income from work what you should do there.
But benefits and/or earnings from work you do abroad.
      Germany Austria Netherlands Australia America.
(just to name a few countries.)
Then you can live there like a king.
Provided of course you don't want to live too luxuriously or spend money on excessively luxurious things.
      Too often.
That's one of the reasons why I haven't emigrated to Serbia yet.
Most people work there on average 12 to 16 hours a day, 6 days a week.
For an average wage up to a maximum of €500 Per month.
      Sometimes even less.
If I could find the same work there as I do here in the Netherlands and that I would have to work just as much or as little for the same money, I would have emigrated long ago..
also due to the fact that employees there are less well protected against abuse by employers as here in the Netherlands.
As soon as I ever win a lottery or I no longer have to work for my money, I will immediately emigrate to Serbia.
Country of origin Country of roots.
As my uncle used to say
if i am called names or taken advantage of.
      Preferably not at all..!!!
At least let it be by people of my own descent.

Well, it depends. I have bought and had some of those at my local market and they are good quality products made with honey. On the other hand, they ARE meant to be kept and not so much to be eaten. They are hand-made and no wonder they could be expensive. Though the price in the centre of the city is definitely for tourists (and the stand is surely very expensive there), like everywhere else in the world. I paid 100 dinars for them at my local market, though not so richly decorated.

Ajvar shoud be 100% roasted paprika. Whoever puts tomato, eggplant or anything else in, is practically cheating and should get a life sentence in maximum security prison. The only thing that could be added are (also roasted) chillis - that's why we have two flavours, "mild" and "spicy". Right combination is also crucial sometimes. Ajvar goes really well with roasted beans (called "prebranac"). Kajmak goes really well with ćevapčići, as the most classical way to eat them - open that bread, pour chopped onions in, add ćevapčići inside, put kajmak over them and close - let the heat of the meat melt that kajmak over everything (the bread will soak it up). That salad/cabbage you got with ćevapi is some health craze and we want none of it.

Eating and drinking in Serbia is a slow motion ritual - "flirting with food...teasing...enjoying the aroma of the freshly prepared food" - unlike the western style of 'rushing it' to go back to work or being pressured by other patrons who are waiting for a table to open up!!!

Bureks in Serbia also vary greatly in texture, greasiness, taste and filling between pekaras. Karadjordjeva is not a refined sort of dish that could blow you away. If you like meat, it makes a good combination with kaymak and chips, and - that's it. Plus it's quite tender and juicy inside, and crispy on the outside. You like it if you feel like having it. The same holds true for chevapi, pleskaviza, prebranaz ... They are all popular foods. For more refined dishes, and more expensive, go to different sorts of restaurants. Like Ambar.
Black sheep definitely has top ice-cream, the best in Belgrade, you obviously followed good recommendations.

The Burek Days were opened for the 12th time in Nis, a city that is considered to be the first place where this specialty was made back in 1498 and where the recipe for its original preparation is kept.
The organizer of the buregdžijada, which started last night and ends tomorrow, is the Union of Bakers.
Burek will be made by masters of nine bakeries in the park, including guests from Macedonia and Greece. A burek weighing about 100 kilograms, two meters in diameter, was made in Nis in 2007 and is considered the largest burek ever prepared, thus repeating the 1995 record from the Nis Buregdzijada entered in the Guinness Book of Records.
The organizers say that burek deserves to become officially the brand of the city, and the first record of burek made in Nis mentions Mehmet Oglu, the master who brought burek to the city.

loved this video. The girl was funny, apologised if she pronounced something wrong, but nailed everything verbally. Its like that nerd in class that you know. You ask her, hey man how did you do on this test. She complains, says the test was rough, and when we get results she gets a straight A 😜😁 You crushed it.Allways enjoy yourselves and have a good time,i hope you did in Belgrade.Life is short like a dream.

I laughed too when you tried that gingerbread heart. They aren't meant for eating, but rather as an ornament. The dough isn't exactly edible. As for sweets in Belgrade, next time you come, go to the pancake place called Pinokio. It's in Zemun, one of the Belgrade's neighbourhoods. The best AND HUGE pancakes in Serbia in my opinion. Legend has it, that even the war criminal Radovan Karadžić was a regular customer while hiding from the International court of Hague. You have a variety of fillings to choose from, but a standard staple is the Nutella- banana- Plazma cookie one, which is my favorite too. Make sure you are really hungry though, because it's a calory bomb, but oh so worth it!

You are the example of how more Americans should be.
if many more Americans who can do it,
would travel the world more often, they would be able to see with their own eyes what it really is and can be.
Instead of blindly following the media and politics.
by the way, that applies to everyone from every country who only limits themselves to their country of origin or the country in which they live.
Every country and or culture has something beautiful in it .
that one can learn from to become a better person.
The fact that you are interested in other countries and/or cultures does not necessarily mean that you have to change or want to change culture..
But unfortunately many extremely backward racists do think that way.
Or they are afraid of having to give up their own culture if other cultures are too interested in their culture.
Once again, extreme respect for you wherever you may go next.
Spread good vibes and make your fellow americans extra proud of you.
Show the world that good sympathetic Americans still exist.
Speaking for myself, I am extra proud to receive Americans like you in Serbia.

Hart cookie is actually ment to give someone you love. Small mirror is glued to it so that person looking at it can see who is in your hart (who do you love). So it represents your hart and if you give it to your girlfriend she can see looking at the mirror who is in your hart. Obviosly her...So it wasnt suppost to be eaten...😂😂😂

The gibanica should be made at home, not in a bakery. What you ate is a lifeless dough for quick profit. If you are not at home, then eat gibanica in a 'kafana''- кафана.
