hmm i dont think i ever encountered an illaoi who didnt just straight up ran it down. i do remember one of them complaining about garen being a stupid champ after dying to me (she fought me even though she didnt have ult, i had my ult and i had ignite). if youre playing against her you should definitely only fight once her e is on cooldown.
Thanks for the tip. I've been perma banning her since I main Pantheon but I might have better odds now
As a jungle main i never gank illaoi lane post 6 unless i can finish her off in 3 seconds more than that and the gank will turn into a double kill

As an illaoi otp sundered sky is also a very broken item on illaoi i usually take it over cleaver or iceborn
Yeah with it getting tuned down I strayed away from recommending it!
Even after the nerfs it still feels better as a first item against ranged champs & also for wave clear. I really like rushing BC into most matchups lately after the nerf to all the other core items

it's pretty inconsequential but "tentacles spawned this way are invulnerable" regarding illaoi ult is incorrect, it just makes all tentacles untargetable and slam twice as much

I have to say she’s one of my mains with over 400 games in diamond, if you max W you are trolling 😅 less than 0.01% of Illaoi max W for a reason, it sucks and you’re missing the point of her!
