Very nice experience in Morocco.. every where lots of attention and respect towards our India. Only in Morocco I think everyone is asking about religion frequently which was not found in other muslim countries. Be cautious as you are always.

This town looks really beautiful in blue! Nice alleys and old buildings. This city was a revelation for me. You have certainly taken the right decision in not accompanying that guy on that van. I remember watching parts of this town in Bourne Ultimatum.
This part gives a very good exposure to the actual situation in the tourist town. The atmosphere is very engaging. However, free trade of marijuana, hashish and other drugs make it a difficult proposition to explore the town without fear. It's good that you refused to board the van taking you to the 'farm'.
It's a shame that people come here for exposure to weed, rather than exploring culture and sight seeing.
But this is exactly what commercial tourism does to any place.
We have plenty examples ourselves too.

Some of the best hashish ( dry sifted ) comes from Morocco from places such as Ketama Valley, which is equivalent to our Malana Valley in Himachal Pradesh. I doubt it will make your or anyone's exploration dangerous as they love tourists.
