I don't know why people were surprised at the outcome of this game because the Minnesota Timberwolves were one of the best teams in the Western Conference all season long they played four games against the Denver Nuggets this season and they split to a games a piece, I see this being a long series and I think it could honestly go seven games, I don't think anyone that really knows anything about basketball can honestly count the defending NBA champions out after one game but Minnesota is a very good team and it's about time people stop underestimating them and start realizing how talented they are, it's funny how everybody honestly thought that the Lakers were going to play Denver better than anyone else as a 7th seed which they continually stayed around the entire season at the bottom of the Western Conference and for some reason people were surprised that the Minnesota Timberwolves who had one of the best records in basketball was able to go into Denver and win a basketball game, it just doesn't make any sense
The Wolves had like 3 nationally televised games. People only watch highlights and usually only those from their home team. The Wolves are an elite defensive team with a deep bench. That’s the blueprint for playoff success. You add a generational talent like Edwards and oh my lord this series could get ugly.

If the Timberwolves beat Denver that's OK, but people make some wild takes because they don't like Jokic. The 2001 76ers won game 1 of the finals and lost 4 straight, the 2012 Thunder won game 1 and then lost 4 straight to the Heat.

Unc and Ocho. Anthony Edwards is still only 22 and he’s already top 10 and leading a great Wolves team. His style of play and athleticism mirrors that of a young Mike, and he puts in effort on both ends and is already one of the best perimeter defenders, he can clamp up and block just about anybody.
Nikola was tremendous! He almost had a quadruple double with 32/9/8/7 respectively! But Anthony Edwards was sensational, doing things we were anticipated and wanting to see. Ant man was the antidote we all needed to cured our basketball blues. We needed a remedy we can count on, something that grab us and glued us to the television set.
