The character really talks EXACTLY like how my fellow waitress used to talk when I worked there so it's incredibly real to me lol
I think they could make a whole full length show with just this guy doing all the characters. The vegas thing really showed how great it would be. All the characters are so great and fleshed out that its extremely easy to forget they are all played by the same guy. After watching for long enough I dont even think about him being a guy playing girls they are just the characters. Its amazing.

it's brilliant acting ,particularly the physical embodiment. the true sign of a great actor us when once in character, is that none of the actor remains. Daniel Day Louis comes to mind . then there's the mimic aspect of this . a great example of this is a Robert Downey Jr. movie's heart and soul. I won't ruin the premise of it ( and don't watch the trailer, commit to it, and have a genuine cinema experience..lol)
During the movie, there's a part where RDJ embodies the other actor's characters, and it's so well done.

I mean I really appreciate my local UNOs for being open. A few years back midway through cooking our power went out and the electric company estimated 24 hours. So we went there for food. We left the house with my mom in crisis mode and came home to the power being back on and the smell of cooking turkey in the oven. Thankfully it still had a few more minutes so perfect timing.
I say this all the time about retail stores. The stores are open because people come & shop; people come & shop because the stores are open. It’s a vicious cycle.

Oh don’t worry. Last week, my warehouse said “since y’all are off Thursday for thanksgiving, we are doing mandatory overtime Friday and Saturday”. So we FINISHED THAT last week and now they are talking about doing it AGAIN this week.
I got called Tuesday night to work Wednesday to cover people calling out. It won't be paid as overtime because a floater was used for Thanksgiving.

From a family who worked at a restaurant Thanksgiving. It is nightmare because after 4, hundreds of people instead of eating leftovers all want pizza delivered all at the same time. I think I have PSTD from it.
I kind of say the same as Nicole when I’m venting and some overly positive coworker tries to be all bubbly and happy 😂 I don’t work in gastro anymore tho!
Sometimes when my baristas vent to me about something I'll fully ask them if they just want me to listen or if they want my personal brand of positivity and most of the time they go 'NO POSITIVITY!!!!!!!!!'

I loved worked at the animal shelter on holidays. Obviously, we need to come in to take care of all our fur kids being housed there; we are closed to the public so no dealing with idiots; we'd always do a potluck breakfast (one year my supervisor actually did the complete Thanksgiving dinner!); and we earned double-time and a half!

Hahahaha . Yep I gotta work the next 6 days in a row . Bartending . Thanksgiving thankfully I traded with another bartender so I’m opening so I will be the first to get off work . If we are busy I won’t get off til 5 . I guess we shall see . Hubby is very understanding and is gonna cook up all the food , we told everyone dinner is at 730 . So pretty late but that’s the life when you bartend at a casino 😢 . No family time but the money is worth it , just gotta move dinner to a way later time

I‘ll never forget this little old man I served when I was in my second year. It was the 25th of December and he just lost his wife. He cried and was so thankful not to be alone that day. He became a regular after that.
