I don’t know if others have mentioned this. But I use a empty paper towel tube cut to about 1” to set my ornament in to apply the vinyl and my ornament doesn’t roll. It might shift a little but generally stays where I laid it. Love your helpful videos thank you so much.

I use painters tape as transfer tape super cheap and easier to find!
Great tip! The only issue is sometimes you can't see through it at all and it makes the vinyl hard to place sometimes.

I have to admit...I always use dollar store clear contact paper. It works great. I like it better than the Cricut transfer paper. You can use it more than once...probably about 3-4 + times. I love it!

I have 2 transfer tapes and even cleaning with alcohol the decal doesn't stick well ami have to scrub it down so it sticks .
What seems to be the issue? Applying the decal or your transfer tape?

Do you use something to seal the vinyl after applied For them to last longer? Does the vinyl come off in time?
With these being used indoors, we have had no issue with them. No need to seal them! :)

How would you go about applying a sticker to an ornament?
I'm having so much trouble laying a large "B" and a large "D" on a round disc ornament. Making the glitter name ornaments where you put a larger letter of the first name down then their name on top of that. These 2 particular larger letters are giving me hard time to lay without crinkling. It's impossible to cut slits around the edges bc the vinyl is more of a round shape. Please help!

Either works great. With the ornaments being such a slick surface, all vinyl sticks to it extremely well.

What if I need to paste a sticker not vinyl on a curved surface. The sticker is not transparent, so any cuts would be visible. Any thoughts on this. I NEED HELP PLSSSS 🙏

I wish you had use a darker color vinyl because really couldn’t see you working with it and cutting near it with transfer paper; but other than that was helpful video.

Me too. I keep trying to add a particular shape and it has ripples. I’ve stayed within the shape parameters and applied from the center out. Still having issues.

Have you cleaned it with alcohol? This helped alot!
Hello! So there could be a few things going on. 1) make sure you're using adhesive vinyl. 2) Make sure your transfer tape is not TOO sticky, as that could hinder your vinyl from being able to come off the transfer tape. 3) you didn't clean your ornament with rubbing alcohol. This is key to making sure your vinyl will stick to the ornament, like miss Darlene said! :) Good luck!

@@MakersGonnaLearn so it was definitely my transfer tape. It was strong grip and it was making it far more hard to put it on the ornament. Thank you for your help! In the meantime is there a way I can keep the ornaments from shattering so easily? I painted them and gave them to my customers. Said they touched it and it cracked. 🥴

Why would you? Vinyl (Oracal 651 and similar) can withstand harsh weather conditions, car wash etc. outdoors on cars and road signs.
