- Here we are one week in and I decided that it was a good test run. I decided that I'm returning the #AppleVisionPro. But for reasons that you may not think. Or is it...?

Apple Vision Pro. You keeping yours?
No. It's fucking useless.
I spent a week watching movies on a giant screen, and then... there is nothing else to do on it.
Furthermore, it is nowhere NEAR as mind-blowing (in passthrough and hand tracking) as all the reviews make out. I swear none of them have actually ever used another headset before, and just claim to have done.
Like without any bias, it is a SHIT product. It is poorly thought out, and was clearly made just to grab money from the Apple fans (and tech reviewers) who will buy anything they make. Apple doesn't even believe in this thing.
@@HouseOfFunQM😂😂😂 haha fucking troll
I'm returning mine as well! As incredible as it is, I couldn't get over the weight and how incredibly uncomfortable it is on my head. Hurts my face after short periods of time
Phew. Glad I’m not alone in this. But… the future looks good from here.
Same here. Im not gonna take it back. But the weight makes it unusable for any serious period of time. I find myself taking breaks every hour.
Facts I had mine 1 day and I’m taking it back lol
Cus it’s free rental why not? 😂
You know man, I really appreciate your camera quality. It's really popping on my new monitor and not many CZcams channels bother using excellent hardware. Love the channel, keep it up!
Ming-Chi Kuo also researched return rates. According to the report, the return rate for the Apple Vision Pro is less than 1%. You don't stir the pot.
I think that we are within 5 years of getting a experience similar to Pixar's Walle minus the screens. This is both amazing and terrifying
Awesome video bro. Agree with everything you said in this video.
I'm also returning mine. Can't see much utility with it for now 👍
But... you were on the Today Show. So that's cool. :)
I guess the question is whether most of the problems will be solved via software. I mean it has an M2 in it. Suppose Apple releases a visionOS version of Xcode. That becomes one more application I don't have to run on a connected computer. That frees up the connected computer to be used for other applications. Essentially, the more software gets ported to the AVP, the less the connected computer single screen limitation matters.
Obviously, weight and comfort on the face cannot be solved via software, but I wonder how many problems can and will be solved via software updates moving forward.
Wise words
Thanks for sharing your perspective- if you return within 14 days is there restocking fee?
I didn't have one when I returned mine. Thankfully. If they did I'm sure it would have been pretty hefty.
I don't buy the Gen1 argument, especially in terms of comfort and weight. Yes, it's the first Apple VR on the market but similar devices have been out for years. Upgraded technology, sure, but the general feeling of wearing a large set of glasses on your face now has hundreds of thousands of hours to case study. I don't understand how anyone expected something different.
If yuo find something" that worst 5000 us , thats the key , the Use Case , and here yuo need a Killer App to make this thing fly
[3:35] Immersive photo and video capture can totally be worth it for some people. That feature alone will impress many, especially those whom are sentimental…
It’s a Spatial iPad, so anything you can do on an iPad can be accomplished but in a whole new dynamic way. I would also argue that you could be more focused on productivity because of the way one interacts with this device, you can be totally immersed in your task as you would in your entertainment…
You got to have VISION to truly get the most out of it. If someone lacks VISION, then a Meta Quest 3 will suffice…
🤔
The clean apple? They are the dongle kings. Lol
I'd say its still another 5 years + before they're of any use
I do not really understand all these return videos about Vision Pro. It is strange to watch. Just strange. Almost like it is organised and orchestrated
What are you on about? Lol look up something called buyers remorse
@@OldSlyEyes said it right. You're seeing return videos because of the window of 14 days after launch. It is a cool product but had to try it out to see if it was worth it to keep it.
this device will make people's nasolabial folds *so* much worse. It's horrible.
Good point people will get so much wrinkles 😂
Most people returning it planned it before buying it or after realizing they needed the money for something else. It’s not because of the product.
You had decided it before you bought it but wanted to get on the trend of reviewing it without being able to afford it.
You have no idea what I nor other people decided before purchasing.
I purchased it with the intention of trying it out and if I liked it I would keep it. And I almost kept it but decided against it.
You’re seeing a trend of people returning them because of the retail return window. Generally 14 days so of course if people have remorse within the 14 days since launch you’re going to see content around that. Of course everybody wanted to try it out and review it and test it out and give it a shot. It’s a brand new product on the market and we’re all curious about it.
You have no idea what people can afford so don’t go around making false assumptions without understanding people. Don’t be a keyboard warrior trying to rip people down for doing something that interests them.
@@rogerseng nothing you said makes what I said untrue. You said “almost kept it” but you know what I said is true: most people returning it did already intend to return it before buying it.
吃白食 use it and return becouse you dont have time use it WTF
You missed his point. He would have used it for longer periods of time for productivity if it was comfortable, but the discomfort factor limited how long he could use it during a week, constraining its value.
Exactly. Thank you. @@mattsmith7991
