This is the ugly face of war's reality.
In this case the injuries seem to be relatively light, but you never can tell.
Being hit in the arm, chest and leg, while being inside a trench, it is an indication of shrapnel wounds.
Wen I served in the Greek Army, all we were issued was a sealed metal box with sterilized gauge(s), that was forbidden for us to open (I don't remember if an envelope of sulfonamide powder was also included).
This box was placed in a small pouch in front of our left shoulder.
In case of injury, we were to press the gauze on the wound or make a tourniquet out of it in order to stop the bleeding.
A tourniquet could also be made by using the rifle's sling.
Everything else was for the medic to have, because he was the one trained for their correct use.
Yes. It is an ugly side of war. We teach combat life-saving to non-medics and every soldier has an IFAC (improved first aid kit) that they wear as a part of the kit. Not everyone is trained in CLS though. I’m glad the guy was okay. That must have been scary

I don't know much but I guess he was wounded by shrapnel. One thing more, he seemed to be fully concious, talking etc. So although there was blood and he didn't move I presume his wounds were not life threatening with proper medical care in reasonable time. When patient is unresponsive it is a different case.
Yes, 100%. He was conscious, talking, breathing and I didn’t see any spurting blood. My initial impression was that he didn’t have any life threatening injuries, but, I want there. So, its hard to say…And I don’t know if they were Medics, or just his friends that were treating him. Regardless, I think they played it safe and got him out of there pretty quickly.

Yes. On the back channels and telegram and whatnot. Russians and Ukrainians are both posting incriminating videos.

Its not about caring or not caring. Its about being informed. Sadly, Western and Amerian media tends to ignore a lot of those issues. War is war. War means war crimes commited by all parties. That is something that has been going on since the beginning of time, even before the time or Hercules, Hector, Alexander, and the Trojans. War crimes are ALWAYS present. And guess what? Media bias will also be around unti the end of time. Every media agency is biased in some way.

Yes. War crimes are being committed by both sides. However, the western media is conveniently only showing what Russia is doing. That is the western narrative
If for us these are separate excesses, and reports about them are most often fakes, then for the Kyiv Nazis this is a common course of action. quite conscious

Ukrainans are fighting for their country. And they need support. And I am happy my country support them. We are also neighbours with rUssia and we don't like them. Finland have been to war against rUssia for more than 1000 years and we still don't like or trust them. Israel probably learned from our country. Minimum service in Finland is longer than the US Marine Corpse.We have more trained military personnel than Germany and Poland combined. Don't underestimate our country..The United States hit the jackpott when Finland joined NATO. WW2 started here Finland vs Soviet Union.Russians respect Finland because they remember we fought back against all odds and we attacked back.Ask any russian.We are probably the country who least need NATO. One russian foot on our territory and it will be a big war

Funny. Anyone, absolutely any intelligent person understands that there is no full-scale war in Ukraine. If you wish, both Ukraine and your Finland can be turned into ashes in 1 day without the use of nuclear weapons.
