This is the only video that explains it properly. Also works between Cardo Packtalk Black and Sena 50R! Just gotta use the middle button instead of the dial to put it into configuration mode, and the minus button 3x to put it into universal pairing instead of spinning the dial

Hi Michael, Thank you for watching my video.

This is the only way connecting them through ‘universal intercom pairing’ mode. I have been using this since the release of this video. And it works like a charm. Thank you very much.
Have you ever had a chance to try connecting a Cardo Edge and a Sena 50S the same way?

Hi Daglar, I haven't had the chance to try connecting the Cardo Edge with the Sena 50s. Best Regards

thanks for the video - seems clear - I am riding with 2 friends who have Sena 50S and I have Packtalk Bold Black. Can not get either of the Sena's to connect to Sena 'Universal Intercomm Pairing' to the Cardo BT pairing. Have tried resets on both devices - appreciate any tips - riding to 2 friends on an Australia via Asia to EU / UK trip at the moment and a real pain to not be able to connect to the Sena's HELP PLEASE if any idea's or tips. (PS, I have been able to connect the Cardo as Phone 1 on Sena 1 and Phone 2 on Sena 2 and can push to intercom with one at time but cancel closes after 10 seconds. Tried Cardo bridging under DMC and same - the channel drops after 10sec of talk / open time)

Hi, I tested this out with my buddy who has the Packtalk Bold Black and the channel did drop after 10sec of talk / open time. We worked for about half an hour before giving up on trying to get it to work. The thing we didn't try was turning off the bluetooth on our phones. Have you tired turning off the bluetooth on all of your phones?

@howierides no have not tried that but really need BT for other things such as connection from phone to Cardo

That's cool, nice tutorial. What's the approximate range?

    • @howierides

I don't have an answer. I'd refer to the range limits given for it on Senas website.

@@howierides That's ok, it's a hard one to answer since this is a cross platform question. Most ranges are stated for dynamic mesh and the +mesh figures. Which is the +1km range line of site. For bluetooth it would be much shorter, I think I'll have to real world test this out with a buddy.

Yeah thats gonna work at a Rally right before the ride....total garbage.

My experience has been if I need it to work right before a group ride then it doesn't work. If it wasn't for bad luck I'd have no luck at all.🍀
