So I hate this video so much now, don't be surprised if I end up erasing it from existence lol
I mean, there are parts of it that I even like, and that's why I'm posting it, but overall I'm just really not happy with it haha I really shouldn't make manips, or even vid crossover/au, I'm bad at it and this video is a proof haha
So one day I got this idea to vid Sirius and I couldn't get it out of my head, I just knew I had to do it, even though I knew I'd struggle with it a lot (and I still made a 4 minutes long vid, because I hate myself like that), but I am glad I did? (At this point I honestly know the Dorian Gray scenes better than I know myself)
I had numerous breakdowns while making it and it isn't even close to what I had in my head, but anyway hahah I focused on his relationships, with his parents, brother, his cousin, with marauders, and I know it's kind of chaotic and I totally messed up, but I hope you can understand the general idea of the scenes I put there? If not, I guess I could make a synopsis and explain what happens, just let me know?
While writing down the cast I realized I wanted to put more Lily here, but I guess it's too late. Sigh.
I still hope that one day we get a tv series or movie about young Marauders and that they do them justice, so that I can cry over them with actual footage, but meanwhile a big shotout to everyone who vids Marauders, your vids keep me alive honestly haha

I’ve always thought that Marlene was like a sister to Sirius, and since she and Dorcas were together, she was the first one he told when he released that he was in love with Remus. Also I love the idea of Sirius and Bellatrix being close growing up. And in full honesty I’m crying while writing this.
i seriously (ha) cant believe you don’t like this??? like what the actual fuck . this is the best thing i’ve watched ever i’m actually crying rn i’m not even lying it’s perfect. sirius is one of my most favourite characters ever like i usually don’t connect w male characters but this video perfectly captures him and why i love him so much. and this is so perfect honestly, some of the stand out moments for me were regulus’s “it amazes after everything you’ve done to this family you can sit here and talk and talk” that’s so harrowing because i can totally see that happen. likewise the bellatrix montage w the merlin quotes god... again so true to his character because it’s just like bella to fixate on sirius, on the traitor and for sirius to return that rage with even more fire. sirius asking james to remember that his family is still family and with regard to regulus i can totally see them having that discussion at least once. then james being like you never showed it to regulus like YOURE A DEMON that hurt so much and again i can totally see that conversation happening. the wolfstar bit my heart went murder meeeeeee. i absolutely loved sirius saying i am everything you were afraid to be to his father and then the scenes w walburga telling him to leave like god ur talent ur mind you got the characterisation spot on. then “he’s the reason they’re dead” yes you’re satan i see that clearly now.

Sirius black is my favourite character and it hurts cause some people hate him for no reason like he went through so much growing up in such strict/toxic family,everyone having bad stereotypes about them and growing with abusive parents,loosing his little brother,being disowned,start hating on him, getting in a war at 18 ,loosing everyone , everyone believing that he caused he's best friends death and try to kill his godson going into lifetime in prison and no one not even his husband/boyfriend ,living in hiding for two years in his childhood abusive household and getting killed later by his own cousin like it's so sad he spend his whole life searching for freedom that he never got and now some people start acting that he and no reason to be scared or angry and that he is the bad and toxic one in the relationship (w/ moony) like he make some mistakes but name one Harry potter character who hasn't i dont think you can,btw this edit is amazing you saw his character very well.
This is taking my breath away with how good it is!! I really love how you've portrayed Bellatrix especially and the quote about the "darkness to your light" that's such a brilliant idea!! So gonna steal that lol, I have been obsessed for years with how many parallels there are between her and Sirius in the books! And Sirius saying "please remember they're my family", so few people portray him as having loved them once, but I think he must have done!! This is literally the best Sirius/Black Family video I've seen and I'm screaming at almost everything!! The Wolfstar scenes midway had me (I'm crying...I thought they'd be forgotten and tossed at the side again because of Blackinnon).
This video just made me realize how Sirius and Remus are more alike than I thought.
Both were looked down as a monster (Sirius for being framed up and Remus for being a werewolf). Both fell in love but had their lovers forced to leave them (Sirius first lost Marlene and Remus lost Sirius) but when they found love once more, they are the ones that died and have to meet their own end (Sirius died and left Remus...and Harry while Remus died with Tonks, orphaning their son, Teddy). Most of all, they might have died later on physically, but they were both dead deep inside ever since James and Lily were killed. Sirius and Remus had it rough (that was so much of an understatement), they found love that left them and when they found it again, they are the ones that needed to go....

Sirius Black is such a screwed up character. His family abused him, he got shut up in azkaban for 12 years, his best friend and adoptive parents dead and once he’s outta azkaban he lives in the house he was abused in for 16 years only to be killed by his own cousin 2 years later..
