Regulus black was the real slytherin. He was cunning and ambitious. The manz literally figured out Voldys secret 17 years before anybody else. Regulus is a token slytherin.

Reasons why Regulus Black is the real hero of Harry Potter:
1. He was the one who figured out where to find the horcrux.
2. He sacrificed his life to get to the Horcrux.
3. He went into the cave knowing he would never come out and he still did it.
4. He planned everything out and made sure it would be destroyed/ hidden.
5. He could have been killed anyway for defying the dark lord, but he still did it.
6. He had a whole family of evil influence around him, and he still chose to do good.
7. He died doing something good.
8. He treated Kreacher kindly and as an equal.
9. Sacrificed his life for a house elf, which were looked down upon and deemed worthless by everyone except him.
10. He was a good person, but grew up influence by evil people all around him and just wanted to do better than his brother, Sirius.
11. He died knowing that people wouldn’t know what he did for a long time.
12. He went into the cave knowing that Sirius, would also view him as choosing Voldemort even though in the end he did the greatest act of good to defy him.
I wish Draco could've finished what Regulus started 😭 if he looked up to him in secret and wanted to get justice for him.

He isn’t the hero tho? He joined the deatheaters even though his parents weren’t even followers, and the only reason he defected is because he thought having a horcrux was disgusting and for Kreature (which is a good thing but doesn’t excuse his bad choices), not because of a newfound love for muggleborns. He was still a racist. Plus Harry and Dumbledore ended up going to the cave anyway to get the locket.
I wish they made a Harry Potter movie but it’s about young James, Sirius, Remus, Peter and Regulus. And the story follows Sirius and Regulus not James and Lily
Better than cursed child and Rowling's botched romances any day , she worked on the worst possible sequel instead of improving the chemistry between harry and ginny or giving us a Neville - hannah side story .

yeah like a movie about the marauders but more about the black family
I love the Idea of three movies about them. A trilogy. Something like:
1) The Marauders - The Beginning (Their Hogwarts years, more upbeat than the next ones. Learning about the dark forces; Voldemort's rise. End on them graduating and joining the order?).
2) The Marauders - House of Black; run alongside the first one so events either occurring during the first one/before/slightly after e.g. Sirius leaving home, just say "he's living with me now" in the first one or something. (So, include more depth on Sirus, Regulus and their family along with Sirius being disowned and Regulus taking the mark. maybe even some parts about the Black Sisters; Bellatrix, Narcissa and Andromeda).
3) The Marauders - It All Ends (The prophecy, Regulus and Kreacher's mission, Marlene McKinnon death, Fabian and Gideon Prewett deaths etc., Peter's betrayal, Sirius in Azkaban, James and Lily's death, Remus's reaction. End with the clip from HP: TPS of baby Harry being left on the Dursley's doorstep; "I open at the close").
Reg's character is so tragic..
All his life he was misguided by his family. He was shown the wrong path and the only one who saw that, Sirius, his older brother, left the family. And still we know that he remained a kind person. Then he finds out about the Horcruxes and realizes that this is wrong, so he does what seems to him as the only thing to do and searches for it. By doing that he willingly drank poison so his house elve didn't have to, which other wizards never would have done. He made sure the Horcrux was to be destroyed or at least hidden from Voldemort. He made sure that Voldemort would find out that he did that by leaving the note. Then he died on a deserted island by being dragged underwater by corpses. And no one will ever know how much of a hero he really was. No one knew what happened to him. Most importantly his brother, who had always told him that Voldemort was the wrong choice, he never knew what his little brother did to actually stop him because he died before someone finally found out.
My hopes are high that somewhere in heaven the brothers met again and Reg got to tell him his story

it's always gonna hurt me bc I think regulus loved his brother and I don't think he ever wanted to be on that side of the war I don't think he knew away out and I think he hated himself because of it but he died a brave death to save people and no one knows how he died

Great video. I'm just wondering where people always get these videos of the marauders because I always see them and i never know where they are from.
Most of the time they use clips from films which aren’t of the marauders. For example the ending clip is from ‘Call me by your name’ and the majority of Timothee Chalemet’s other clips are from ‘The King’. Fans of the marauders have kind of just decided that these would be the best people to play the characters. Hope this helped (:
