    Some of the roads here in the UK are very old as you said, like 2000 years old from the Roman invasion, i dont see the difference driving this pick up and daily driving a big van like a LWB Mercedes Sprinter around our small roads, i think its his lack of driving skills that make it look difficult 🤣

    If you drive a vehicle over 3.5 tons in Europe Like tesla cybertruck Or a truck with a long bed , you need a C driving license for trucks and it's harder to get than driving license for normal cars.

    That's NOT a one lane road ! It's a NORMAL British road.
    OUR roads are built for OUR cars, so they are NOT narrow to us.
    Petrol stations are usually ONE WAY only. You drive in one way and exit in the same direction. If the truck wasn't there, the car could drive past and exit the petrol station. The truck is blocking him in.
    AM EX is not usually accepted in the UK.
    The guy riding in the back of the truck is committing an illegal offence in the UK.

    The lady at the petrol pump was very angry, Brit style!. For her to even have said anything in the first place is unusual. But for us, you stay calm but firm, and make your point. If you shout you are rude and lose all moral high ground haha.

    Imagine driving in a narrow street with the driver's seat on the wrong side of the car.
    Also, I don't understand why all American cars have to be oversized. Most of the time they only have 1 or 2 occupants.
    I live in Australia, and we are just getting this truck here, although they are extremely expensive (at least double to the US price, and sometimes even triple).
    Australia has much bigger roads, but our parking spaces are not, and it's a pain when someone parks their Ram or F-150 in multiple parking spaces because they don't fit, or the truck sticks out so far behind the space that other cars can't get round. The average pickup truck in Australia is the Ford Ranger, the bigger trucks just don't fit.

    When he got fuel,he went in front of someone already at the pump ,who was almost ready to go,alot of people do not do that and stay behind and que , with this large truck he is going to be a while filling up and the car behind is not happy. i would not be.

  • @johny79action

    Why do you make your trucks so big in the US?, you are the same size as us in the UK so why do you need bigger trucks? it just means you have to struggle more to get in it and manouver around!. In the US you treat the fuel station as a rest stop, for us in the UK it's a fuel and move on.

  • @helenwood8482

    It’s all staged and over dramatic. It’s literally maybe 6 inches wider than your average car, and definitely not any bigger then your average off-road vehicle you have there. Hell It’s way smaller than a straight truck or semi truck. This is just idiotic

  • @helenwood8482
    @helenwood8482 Před 4 měsíci +3

    That is not a one-lane road and yes, it is legal. It makes life difficult for those of us who use wheelchairs. It shouldn't be legal.
    Driving that monstrosity should not be legal either. It's a ridiculous size. The white van was much smaller. Americans are definitely over-compensating for feelings of inadequacy.

    • @_Kicks1
      @_Kicks1  Před 4 měsíci +1

      You think it’s over compensating🤔 that may have been the case decades ago but now it’s just the norm🤷🏻‍♂️

    • @norwegianblue2017
      @norwegianblue2017 Před 4 měsíci +1

      You really don't understand the point of this truck. It is for overlanding at high speeds in a Baja-style terrain. Only the Ford Raptor can match this vehicle in this area. No Range Rover or Toyota or G-Wagon can even come close. Frankly, you are sounding very provincial and narrow-minded. Obviously, you would never buy a truck like this for driving on the narrow roads of England and going to McDonalds drive through.

      @@norwegianblue2017Dog, I live in a state where people most Literly own nothing but pick ups. I worked with these people for many years. Not a SINGLE one of them use pick ups to haul anything. Everyone I ever spoke to has always wanted a big truck because they WANT a big truck 😂 My boss picked up a blacked out RAM and first thing he did was slap bigger rims and wheels on it. It doesn't matter what its "meant for" its what people use it for and all I have ever seen were middle aged ciss white men drive theaw stupid thing. Its 100% them compensating.
