I've been doing the same diet (no sugar) and have noticed the same things.
Better sleep, less bloated, weight loss and especially joint pain. My knees kill me when I overdue sugar, but when I eliminate it they feel great.
It's crazy how unhealthy the modern diet is and how we have to actively work and educate ourselves about nutrition. Glad to hear it's working for you!

I'm so sorry to hear about your mum. Sometimes it's the little things in life that matter, and day trips with my mum are something we always look forward to. Especially when Porsche lends me a car for the week, it's my mum (not my dad) who always gets a thrill from enjoying the newest models. She's truly the best. Say hello to your kittens! I'm obsessed with that first outfit with the striped top! I feel a DIY project coming on as I have some longer striped tops that could definitely stand to be cropped. No one gets me screenshotting quite like you do Natalie! :)

Regarding a diet low in sugar and processed food, it's amazing what it does to the body. I had a small donut last night, and I woke up this morning feeling weirdly heavy and throbbing. I've always been sensitive to foods, but now I notice it more than ever, so I need to avoid that stuff.

I would be interested in learning more about your no processed food diet. Would you be interested in doing a video in which you talk about that and how you make it work? I have thought about it often, but I don't know where to start! Especially when it comes to bread and pasta (I am Italian ;) )
I'm thinking of making a video about my experience with cleaning up my diet. Going sugar-free was something I wanted to do for years, but I only took the first step when my husband joined me for a month-long challenge. It definitely made things easier in the long run.
I understand the struggle with carbs-I'm Hispanic, and our diets are very carb-heavy, with lots of dairy, fried foods, and sugar. Seeing family members get sick with diabetes and inflammation sparked my curiosity about nourishing foods, and now I'm committed to it.

That's great to hear! I've been addicted to sugar for most of my life, so I decided to cut it out for a month to see how my body would react. Can I just tell you how shocked I was to find that my knee pain was virtually non-existent after a couple of weeks, even with taking up running and lifting more weights at the gym!! It really goes to show how important eating clean is for our overall health.
Update: I finished my sugar-free/no processed food challenge at the start of the month, and I'm sticking with it!

Studio Ghibli is the best! I originally wanted one of the puzzle bags from the Totoro collection, but everything sold out so fast that I ended up getting the Soot Sprite Basket bag. I'm hoping to come across something from the Howl's collection at some point since it's another favorite of mine. As for the mini puzzle, I actually own it in Apple Green and the Nano puzzle as well. I would highly recommend the mini puzzle; it's a great bag that can be dressed up or down and fits a fair amount of stuff. Hi! The white Sezane blouse I'm wearing is a size 36/4US. It's oversized and fits amazing in my opinion. I have a real love for white button up shirts and the fit of the Max shirt is one of my favourites. I would say go true to size if you like that slight oversized/relaxed fit, or, go down a size if you want a regular fit. Refer to the Sezane size guide as well as I find it's very helpful.

not eating Sugar is impossible, you drink coffee with milk, lactose in milk (the same as glucose) is pure sugar. And so in any food. White bread in such a burger and of course sugar is added to this bread and the white bread itself is sugar.
Hello! I should have specified that I'm avoiding added sugar and fructose in refined and ultra-processed foods. Naturally occurring sugars aren't an issue since our bodies derive energy from glucose. I'll stick to low-glycemic fruits such as berries and avoid bananas because my body is very sensitive and reactive to sugar spikes. I'll have a bit of cream in my coffee but will avoid Greek yogurt for the most part, as I am slightly lactose intolerant. Overall, my aim is to get healthy and stop eating all the refined stuff that's so prevalent in our modern diets. Over the past month, I've noticed a drastic change in both how I feel and my ability to focus, as well as in my mental health. I can show up as the best version of myself and live a better life overall. :)

Are you in the process of tattoo removal?
Hello, I am not. While there are some tattoos I'm not fond of anymore, they are a part of me and tell the story of my past. One of my friends recently went through the removal process, and it looked frightening and painful. She said it wasn't too bad, but I had a very strong visceral reaction to her video that surprised even me. So for now, no tattoo removals are in the works, but who knows what will happen down the road.
