Lovely pond and another happy customer with a nexus. I was in the shop this morning with my lad he was about to come through and watch you net and bag the fish but we was talking to paul so he missed it but they looked like these fish in the video lol. Dechlorinator worked spot on thanks again Tim and Paul 👌.
I know of two people as we speak with broken down drums waiting on parts with zero filtration in summer. There is a lot to be said for the Nexus. Love my 220 run without faults that I had with the drums I've owned. Great watch regards Jez.
I have a client with the same. He actually bought a 220 and pump fed it because he couldn’t get parts. Still not sure if he has them. That’s why I only install the Profi drums, the after sales is great and parts the next day. Drums are 100% ‘you get what you pay for’ so when people go cheap, they get issues.
Thanks for the variety of ponds that you introduce to us; and of course, this time showing us the filters that are being retired. This pond was very quite without a waterfall, which is fine. I was wondering about the pump differences. How is the previous pump different from the current pump on the Nexus? The noise differences and the power usage.
Another excellent video and a beautiful pond. I have 3000 gallon pond, running a Nexus 210, ea 1200 pump and a tmc 55w UV. I've been having lots of problems with green water. Would I be better with an ea 110w UV? The Nexus is pump fed due to my setup. Thanks!
I see you got some new headgear too!! What brand was the air pump(tan one?)? Is it pretty old? I have an older one that looks similar and trying to get some information on it.
landscape on phone !! :-) nice set up, agree he needs to sort a skimmer. does a 2k gallon pond need a 110 uv ? sounds like a big one for that size. he certainly wont have any worries with green water
You've seen those American guys using those reverse undergravel filters. Why not try them? Or,do you think they need too deep of a pond since they eat up at least 2' of the bottom of the ponds?
His old filter setup looked to be fine. Probably more media and certainly more mechanical filtration from the all those brushes . Don't see the point in filter change
Because in winter when Malc has his arm all the way in agitating the media to unblock it. He just couldn’t be bothered anymore. You won’t find where I said the old system wouldn’t work. He’s gone from cleaning horrible muck from his filter in awful conditions daily... to the Nexus doing that every 3 days. Which would you prefer?
The owner is retiring soon and just wanted a less hassle system. With the brushes and other media he had previously he got covered in muck cleaning it. The equipment was the price on the website plus fitting, which depends on location.
@@TimWaddington Thanks for the reply, I only asked as I myself have had this pond for 30yrs ,running old school vortex. Enjoy the vids. Hope to pay you a visit in the near future, only in Liverpool. Thanks Graham
Tim first off we really need to see the hair, in all seriousness I have an OG nexus 200, the first upgrade after that picture you dad wishes would be buried of him drinking from the answer, the model with the first-ever 'Eazy', would dropping a grand on a upgraded new nexus show any more better results, in your opinion?
I think the 320/220 is the best one they have produced, which they should be as each time they have improved and tweaked the design. New stuff on the horizon too 😉
Quality Nishikigoi when you say new stuff do you mean a new filter? As I’m currently looking to buy a Nexus 320 but might wait if they are releasing something new?
A big thank you Tim First Class service , big thank you to Kev he knows his way round the Nexus 👍👍
You’ve got a great set up there mate! Very impressive! Nice job Malc 👌🏽👍🏽👍🏽 Best wishes mate 😎
Hi there Malcolm how much dose a pond that size cost to build am looking at building one soon as our mortgage is sorted on our house 😊

Beautiful
Nexus power !
Hi Tim another great vid and 5 lovely fish you picked from your stock. My own koi spawned yesterday at the 1st attempt. Keep the vids coming 👍

Hiblo I think mate
The media looks a little thin. Does the filter have a certain recommendation? If not- I could see doubling the amount easily in there.
And here's me with an AllPondSolutions 8000 and green water :')

It looks like it's in full sun so that 110 will be needed for perfect water ;)
Tim I hardly recognized you with that beard. haha
Getting it cut as we speak!
Quality Nishikigoi go LIVE, GO LIVE 🔴🤣
Haha no way! You’re a bad influence!
Very neat and tidy job how much did all cost and does the price includes fitted
Hi Graham, the prices for equipment are what we sell on the website then fitting depends on location 👍
You've seen those American guys using those reverse undergravel filters. Why not try them? Or,do you think they need too deep of a pond since they eat up at least 2' of the bottom of the ponds?
I’d try it Stan, they do work. They use a lot of the K1 micro beads on those systems in the states. However maintenance is a pain.

@@TimWaddington fair enough
To pipe up a nexus takes 6 hours?
And add the auto kit, new pump and UV.
Why did you choose to upgrade after so many years, and is this more cost efficient and what was the cost of the upgrade?
The owner is retiring soon and just wanted a less hassle system. With the brushes and other media he had previously he got covered in muck cleaning it.

Not new Nexus mate
What was that acer next to the filter house, bottom half looked pink
BlackHatMedia will try and find out
Did he not want a heater added?
Later in the year. 👍
