There are some good reasons to do a lease purchase, if you're new to the industry and want to check things out before biting off buying a semi truck, this would be the way to do that. That's only one reason to do a lease, I have come up with several more watch my video to see more.

Going by the comments i see most people do not know how to read a contract before signing or how to counter offer a contract. I don't have a single fleeced friend in a lease purchase program. The buddy making the least made 90k after taxes, payments, 401k(solo), health insurance etc. 90k after all costs driving light guy takes a week off every month to be home. Buddy with the best made 210k after all payments etc. a must to have is a clause that no matter what if your out driving the loads you will not be cut a check less 500$ if that means they differ a payment interest and penalty free or cover fuel etc, then thats what they have to do.

As I've said many times before, there is no perfect situation however this COULD BE a good starting point for someone to see if they are right for this industry before buying a truck.

No, no, it's very expensive to lease purchase 🚚 truck from the mega carriers .... You be paying big money 💰 💰💰💰💰💯💯💯...I lease one from Super Ego and lost money 💰 with the program ....So good luck Mr.Tuck Driver with the lease purchase programs 💯💯💯

I think you misunderstand. I'm not encouraging anyone to lease purchase. I am explaining how they work, what to look for and be wary of, and try to help people understand the facts about lease purchase. So.e people, no lease purchase is definitely not right but for some it could be a perfect solution for them.
Everyone has a different situation and some people can gain from the RIGHT TYPE of lease purchase. Super Ego is among the worst in the industry. There's a huge lawsuit against them now that's been ongoing for a few years

@@truckingenius Stop advertising the Lease programs on you tube it's a bad deal Mr.Truck Driver ....I lost big money 💰 with Super Ego paying for lease every month than paying Insurance paying for trailer rental every month paying for the plate on the truck paying for fuel and tolls also Super Ego company fees so by the time I pay all this was no money left for me to pay my own bills .... Stop encouraging Drivers about all this BS programs please 🙏

How long is the lease purchase at EOS?

    • @truckingenius
      @truckingenius  Před 4 měsíci +3

It's going to vary, somewhat depending on the year of the truck. So, for example, a 2023 may cost $880.00 per week BUT there's another 12 cents per mile charge in addition. The contract for the 2023 year model truck would be for a term of approximately my 260 weeks (5 years)
The .12 cents per mile is supposed to be YOUR money and used for maintenance related items such as PM and tires but you won't get that money if you leave.
I've yet to find anyone who has ever completed the lease purchase agreement and actually received the title to their truck.

Generally speaking, I don't think it is a good idea to get your truck from the people you get the loads from. Too many of the contracts are a rip off.

I agree BUT some people may be new and need time to see if this business is for them or maybe they can't get financing for a truck or.......... I don't think there's a one size fits all solution but yes I see your point and mostly agree

As far as I know ALPHA Logistics in Illinois they do Lease Purchase and self dispatch!!.. you booked your OWN Loads and you negotiated the rate straight with the Broker which is the BEST!!!…But if you’re doing a Lease Purchase and you have a “DISPATCHER ” on TOP of YOU how is Booking the loads for you with out showing you the RATE CON!!! You’re FK UP!!! good LUCK on that!!

Lease-purchase is usually a bad idea "genius". Company drive and save up for a truck. There's a reason it's usually younger drivers who are looking for shortcuts.

  • @Hysteria_1776

Dont lease or buy a truck right now. The freight rates and fuel prices arent worth it.
Stay a company driver, save your $$$ and hold until we're out of this economy.

Everyone has their own opinion. I'll say it again, do you own research. Read and understand what the facts are then each person can make their own decisions based on the research they've done.
Don't take my word for it.

As last long as there are this many trucks on the road , getting good frieight rates will usually be a serious challenge " at least 90 percent of the time " .
