But back then these cars just came out, and they were 500,000 - 2,000,000 yen, which is 5,000 - 20,000 USD. You see them with broken headlights/ tail lights, ripped off bumpers, and drifting still with sparks flying out one of the tires. Really just shows how different the times were. The same cars would be put on auctions now.. Insane.
I was gonna mention it looked like osaka port area... Then I saw the Jesse Streeter mention :) I'll have to meet him some time.... I live close by in Itami. I've been in contact with him though emails before, he seemed like a genuinely nice guy.
