Today's video, we're going to show you how much activates you can fit in Kyoto in 1 day. Join us on an exhilarating full-day journey from the bustling streets of Tokyo to the cultural heart of Kyoto. 🌆➡️🏯 In this vlog, we experience the essence of Japan in just one day!
Our adventure begins with a ride on the iconic Shinkansen, where I try a tonkatsu bento box. Spoiler alert: it looks better than it tastes, but hey, that's part of the travel experience, right? 🍱😅
Next, we stroll down the picturesque Ninenzaka Path in Kyoto. Here, we make a refreshing stop at Starbucks for a unique Yuzu Citrus Tea and a Lemon Cake Frappuccino - a must-try when in Japan! 🍋☕
While exploring the serene Kiyomizu Temple, we embrace the peaceful ambiance (and yes, we were respectful - no pictures or videos here, just memories). 🙏🏛️
Our shopping spree at Shinkyogoku Shopping District is a blast - hello, new shoes from Skechers! 👟 And right across the street, we dive into an amazing dining experience at Kura Sushi. From shrimp sushi with basil drizzle to delectable scallop sushi and teriyaki sushi, it's a feast for the senses, complete with winning fun prizes! 🍣🥳
As the day winds down, we stumble upon 'Crepe Ojisan' for a delightful 550-yen treat of peach and strawberry crepes. 🍑🍓🥞
Our final stop? Don Quijote for some quirky Japanese snacks and candy-making kits. Back at our hotel, the ATO, we hilariously attempt (and fail) at making these candies late into the night - definitely a laughter-filled end to our day. 🍬🤣
