It occurs to me that many reggae fans, don’t understand that, 🇯🇲Jamaica, is not like the u.s.music👈🏽business. There is no best ever,👌🏽among, my breddas. Every one o dem, 🙏🏾love up jah jah, and give their very best🎯. The Diamonds (from the Rough) are vaulted by every artist. Do you know about the Wailing Souls.. 5-part harmony, the Gladiators, how bout Black Slate from Angland, explore my children, it is our food.🇲🇱
This is a childhood song I enjoyed rocking to as a child. My late father, who I may I add was the kindest, most gentle father anyone could ask for, played songs like these for me. It gave me a stepping stone to reggae music which I have loved ever since then.Even more so now I am a huge, life long reggae fan. It’s in my roots and will always be apart of me. Thanks Pops for introducing me to the wonderful genre of reggae music. Rest In Peace and enjoy these works in heaven. Love and miss you dearly
Yes I grow up on those songs I love to listen the one that say marcus Garvey when my dad draw for him turntable and his lp a trouble those was the day’s
The clips in the background comes the from the movie called "rockers". The cast is of the movie has some of the most legendary roots reagge stars and the BEST soundtrack you never see again in such a simple movie about a man hustling in Jamaica in the early 70s .let their be priase in JAH RASTAFARI , KINGS OF KINGS LORDS OF LORDS.
Love this track. It brings back precious times of my dad playing timeless reggae classics like these. It gave me a stepping stone into the wonderful genre of reggae music. I’m still a huge fan of reggae music. It’s in my roots and It will always be my favourite type of music. Thanks pops for being the mist wonderful father anyone could ask for. Rest In Peace in heaven
But without Bob, people outside the Caribbean wouldn't even know about reggae. Seeing Culture, Gladiators, Mighty Diamonds, Burning Spear, etc in Paris as a kid is part of the legacy of Bob. Everyone just plays his part in the universe. He might not be the best singer, the best arranger, the best musician or even the "best" ratsa. But he plays his part... (yeah, I know I'm answering a 6 yrs old comment but still, lol)
BRILLIANT!! HISTORY LESSON WITHIN THIS BEAUTIFUL SONG!! SO SAD 2 DIAMOND'S HAVE LEFT US! TABBY DIED IN SUCH A BRUTAL WAY! BUNNY MUST HAVE BEEN IN SHOCK OVER HIS LONG-TIME FRIEND'S DEATH!!
RIP my beloved dad Jahroy this was one of your favourite Mighty Diamond, it bring back so much memory when i was a child listening these song as you played it on that turntable from your amps, jah jah rip Tabby
To me Jamaican music was fun. But I found it's only make-believe, what's the idea with "RASTA MAN" not caring about hygiene and a nasty appearance. Goes with making money and letting the country go down the drain. So, things are changing!! Any chance you might change your nationals mindset!!!? As in, uplift your COMMUNITIES in order to contribute with the uplifting of your SOCIETY. Yes, that is the function of "COMUNISM" and SOCIALISM, that this DEMOCRATIC SYSTEM shone a ugly light on that political idea only had to do with the perfection of slavery, alias MINIMUM WAGES. It's time to employ God's mind that's WITHIN US (OUR SOUL) to revive today's philosophers for a cure to the CENTURIES of psychological warfare. Only YOU can do it for the benefit of the rest of us. P.S. I didn't pursue an incursion in music because of all the blacks killing blacks, that STILL goes on to this day. A sad state of affairs for blacks all over.

@@GudovaevilGudovaevil you're already confused when I touched on "THE THINGS I KNOW ABOUT". Like "GUDOVAEVIL" in these days, many EVIL minds go around PRETENDING to do good, they sing "GLORY HALLELUJAH ", then turn around a ND stabb you in the back. As in "WOLVES IN SHEEP CLOTHING". They get rich off it.
@@chriscravens8318 I recommend you read it over slowly, till you get the meaning. Sorry most of it don't sound familiar, I scrutinize beyond Christianity, Judaism or Islam.

It amazing how Bob eclipsed such great talents
Indeed. Tabby's vocals yet to be replicated by anyone...
@@tonyogbata2022 He's really great but Delroy Wilson is another vocal talent that often got overlooked.
I always say that.

You are confusing, you are all over the place. To make a long story short speak about the things you know.
