Only the Pumpkins could have a song like X.Y.U, and then be able to pull off a decent acoustic version like this. it is surreal.
Awesome! A shame Smashing Pumpkins never got an Unplugged special on MTV back in the day. It would have been a strong opponent of the Nirvana and Alice In Chains performances.
Leonard Kowalski it looks like they were supposed to do one with the Chicago Symphonic Orchestra but then fucking Melvoin died...
They actually did, but it was really early in their career (after Siamese dream) so not a lot of songs
Cory Castleman where can I find it?
@@corycastleman6351 nah they had a fair amount of songs could've done covers too
@@kmasonsos just type in Smashing pumpkins unplugged performance. Billy's wearin his 666 sweater
Its so weird loving this version and seeing everyone hate on it
I didn't know it was possible for an acoustic version of a song to somehow feel even more intense than the original.
WOW!!!!
This is how you reinterpret your own song in acoustic and smash it out of the stratosphere!!
Too good!
Somehow, they've found a way to make a heavy acoustic song!
This version is awesome! WOW!
SICKKKKK VERSION! Wow! 😍🙌🏻✊🏻
Amazing!
I can feel James' hate
D'arcy quiero ser como tú
4:50 cash car star ???
Yes, it seems that Machina II was being developed slowly throughout the years.
Courtney Love hmm was inspirational
What the fuck's up with the lyrics Billy? LOL
lol
For some reason, I'm thinking this song is about Courtney Love.
Courtney pretty sure it is. I think Fuck You Ode to No One is as well but don’t quote me on that.
I dont like this drummer
+myjungleismassive1 This version of the song is also pretty wack.
ya it doesn't compare to the version of XYU at Rockpalast Düsseldorf 1996
@@myjungleismassive1 that performance was epic. the world should have ended afterwards.
I was never a fan of Matt either.
