The DMV Sitcom Season 1 Episode 1 The New Guy - Pilot 20 minutes

Ever since Mario became wheelchair bound, he’s been searching for purpose in life. While wandering and passing through Jersey, he finds work at the DMV complex. Mario's kind, sensible and balanced nature has kept him out of trouble - that is, until he meets the crew at the DMV, a government agency where its employees and customers are equally subject to its lunacy.
Our gang comedy characters work in the lobby, back offices, photo Id, testing, inspection, road testing and outside locations.
The DMV is no respecter of persons, age, race, religious, political, ethnic, social or economic classes. Other factors like stress, universally shaped gripes like paying government taxes, death or even worse, waiting in line at the DMV will contribute to the comedic tension that makes our sitcom work.
Why is the DMV sitcom a good idea and will people watch it? Think about it. In all the years of watching tv programs, there has been hundreds of sitcoms that have featured segments about the DMV, but no show has been entirely dedicated to the DMV. Anyone age 15 to 100 who has had the unfortunate opportunity to visit or work with the DMV (MVC or DOT) will relate to this sitcom. What’s Your DMV story?
