Wasn’t the whole point of the original movie that he was a murderous sociopath living in the walls of the house and the doll was just representation of the kid? It wasn’t a haunted doll it was just a dude.
*he might have died and his soul attached to the doll*
Maybe it's a misdirect, or in case people didn't see the first one. Trailers can be deceiving.
Yeah, but I think to pump out endless sequels this new concept probably works better. ;-) Not in terms of quality, but quantity.
Yes
They have gone all Chucky, the killers soul is inside the doll.Wanna pLAY.
That last scare was the least scary thing in the whole trailer
LucianoThePig bruh I said that too 😂

Yeah... Exactly ... It just seemed so normal and expected.... 😂😂
ikr im so over cgi scares!!
I laughed. The lighting is off on the CGI or something
The whole reason why I liked the first one was because the plot twist of it wasn't the ordinary supernatural scare.
Agree
me too...
Yeah... how is this even.a sequel ?
This defeats the entire purpose of the first movie. It’s like the person who made this didn’t even watch the first film.
Fairly intelligent, logical script, too. Not usually in this genre.

I guess they wanted to try something different as usual but its kinda weird making it supernatural all of a sudden when part one wasnt that at all

@@juggalogamer8541 Yeah i hate when they take big leaps like that everytime they come out with more parts to a movie. If thats the case the first one could've been supernatural too.Imo it was more scary cause it wasnt but we all thought he was real at first.
all the supernatural parts must be nightmares
It makes sense. I’d rather keep the same concept as the first one but it makes sense. The kid is wearing the mask like the adult Brahms. One could say that the doll really does have a supernatural presence and is what made Brahms psycho in the first place. What the doll did to Brahms, it’s now doing it to the new kid.
Riiight that's what I said! Hopefully this one is paranormal hauntings I hope
The grownass man is still living in the walls.
Right, the first one was not supernatural at all. The big twist was the doll was being moved by a person hiding in the house. It was actually a decent twist. This is just coming across as a stupid, generic sequel that there is no need for.
@@spraragen88 Supernatural elements are probably nightmares or the doll is a robot or something

Brahms killed that little girl in the forest when they were younger, parents staged house fire to make it looks like Brahms was dead so they could protect their little boy (as any parent would) and keep him alive living in the walls. The doll was never possessed. Brahms was never possessed. Nothing was supernatural. It was made to look like that at the beginning, until Brahms crashed through the wall near the end and you find out it was never a ghost all along. At the end of the first film, Brahms pieced the doll back together. Brahms did not die. The end.
I saw it the day it came out guys: not the sequel we asked for and certainly not the sequel we wanted. Much disappointment :(
Actually if you saw the sequel it confirmed Brahms is dead and he is not who fix the doll.
J reid I did see the sequel, which I stated in the comment I commented after I went to see it. Was VERY disappointed.
This sequel reveals it was an older man, NOT real Brahms who pieced the doll back together.
And they decided to make the doll actually alive in the sequel? Why?
@Lone Wolf
Didn't.......didn't the movie, towards the end, after the dad smashes the doll's head it is revealed there is a demonic doll disguised under the porcelain one? After its head is smashed the doll starts to move by itself and forces the gardener into the furnace....
This sequel really didn't have to be made. No on asked for a sequel that kind of ruins the plot of the first movie. This movie's only strength is Katie Holmes' performance.

2:01 LOOK
That's right 😳😳
@@gnarthemissinglink7541 yes because we judge everything
If you're confused, the writer explained in an interview that brahms was odd as a child because he was under the influence of the doll. This sequel had a lot scenes that are very similar to Brahms' backstory in movie 1(how he was becoming a psycho, hurting a kid, etc) because they want to indicate in the same sense that Brahms wasn't crazy from the get go, contrary to 'pub talk'. That only after discovering the doll, both boys turned psycho. The end of the second movie showing the boy wearing a porcelain mask, talking to the doll about his parents and the rules, was kind of a hint on how he was gonna be the next brahms.
Damn... Ion like that. The semi realistic-ness of the movie was so much more appealing
And he'll be having a Gretta in the future too 🤣🤣🤣 hope it'll stay with him and change him back to normal xD
The human Brahms already was a pyscho before the doll came up.
@@pupcake_cuppycake5567 I agree, it was much more interesting
@@rei4695 Not according to the writer. Maybe, they say that just to make this second film make sense or maybe, it just really is supernatural, but that's really up to you how you wish to see it. I don't remember the article I saw that from, 'cause this was ages ago, but that's their explanation about the whole thing because they know there will be confusion with whether there's even anything supernatural about the doll
Thought the whole point of the first one was that the "boy" wasn't actually supernatural?
It was a man in the wall!!!
DRIA. I did... that’s why I said what I said.
ScrubTheNub This movie made no sense. It was a really desperate attempt to create a sequel to a movie that didn’t need one and to add an entire element that does not add up with the original whatsoever. But if they had tried to create this garbage as its own new movie it would have flopped worse than it has and they know that. Making this a sequel at least ensured enough people who liked the first one would be stupid enough to pay for this trash (like I did).
Exactly...
@Raw Engineer but the point was the man in the wall moved the doll around in order to have a "front" to get access to food and listen to music etc
"Take him to a place he feels safe." And they take him to an old mansion in the middle of the woods.
Yeah, that's great parenting right there... Anyone remembered to just give him a cookie?
For sure great thinking
A house in the woods can be quite peaceful, living in a big and crowded city can be bad for mental health, I’d say living in a house in the woods is a good thing for mental health purposes.
@@ChowderTDMOFCAL r/whoosh

the whole point of the first film and what made it so unique was that we thought the doll was haunted all along and it turned out to be the actual Brahms that moved the doll and hid in the walls. Y'all just ruined it now.
That's what I'm saying. I loved the movie, it was slow, it had a bit of romance, a dark abuse but it wasn't gabbled and thrown in there. The pace was amazing with every detail and now we have this.
Exactly
It still could be like that. Maybe I they're fake out nightmares like last time.
@@itssheils4296 I really hope it is, though that story of the doll being with several people through the years doesn't give me too much hope...

For those who were about the role of brahms (The Doll) in the movies was, The doll chooses its male acquaintance, manipulating its mental health until it becomes a psychopath, and ones he accomplished that he orders he’s acquaintance to do its horrifying activities, it went by from generation to generation, everytime his acquaintance dies he chooses another one to serve for him and become one with him and serve him until death.
Why nobody got rid of the doll during a century?! If everyone was saying it is the doll.
This whole concept is just disappointing... My hubby and I loved the first one because we weren't ready for the twist but this is just sad. They could have gone with the idea that Brahm still lives in the walls and he ends up befriending the child and protects him in violent ways but no, they had to go and change the whole premise almost to the point of changing it from psychological thriller to horror! We both agreed we aren't going to watch this and forget we ever saw the previews so as not to taint the beauty and originality of the first one...
💯💯💯❣❣❣
Only a supernatural intervention could've allowed Brahms to survive those stabbings, though 🤷🏼
Also, it's refreshing to come across someone who appreciated the first as much as me❣ "Originality" & "Beauty", indeed❣❣❣❣❣

in the boy 1, the mom was the babysitter of brahms in his doll form. Her abusive ex boyfriend came and broke the doll. the now older brahms emerged from the walls of the house and killed the ex. As for the babysitter, she put him to bed. while she was giving brahms a goodnight kiss, she had stabbed him with a screwdriver. Brahms has seen to be dead. At the end of the movie, brahms broken doll is show being glued back together, which is why he is show here. As for the doll moving around, it wasn't moving by itself, the real brahms in the walls has been moving it all along. The mother shown here is the old babysitter of brahms. Supposedly, she has forgotten about her experience with brams and has moved into the same house she had babysitter him in. Now please like for this explanation! :)
