- Was dispatched for a truck fire on the interstate. Chief arrived on scene and advised there was a camper trailer fully involved. First arriving truck pulled a hand line and started hitting the truck with CAFS system (water/foam). A second line was pulled. Mutual aid and manpower arrived on scene and took a line inside the camper to extinguish contents.

That honda that passed on the highway pissed me off.
Hi Karen
It's required by law that you do not pass an emergency vehicle...you pull over and stop. @@user-br9bq9vu2d
@@chadmark88 my point exactly
Who cares? It did not delay the response,if they wanted to be idiots and sit in traffic good for them.Just let them be idiots if they want.
@chadmark88 I know what you were referring to, but it is not even worth your time. Let them be idiotic if they want to be. It will come back to bite them in the end.
Strong work!
Nice toy hauler. Well was.
Awesome job 😊😊😊😊😊
Long way to respond and still be 1st on scene.
There are some long distances between fire fighting resources on both I-5 and I-15 in California. Most of the car/truck fires in those places result in the vehicle burning to the frame.
Great video
You guys did great job by way
My heart breaks for these ppl😢😢
Awesome video
Wow!!! Actually took me a few minutes before realizing this is my home town...Ottawa, Illinois!!!!!
With good insurance you might be able to replace it with an Isuzu and camper shell
I really like your style.
Think maybe your vehicle overheated due to the weight you're pulling?
Videos ????
As there were no clues in the description I was trying to guess the location. Based on the older houses near the beginning I was thinking Pennsylvania, maybe Ohio. Illinois was a bit of a surprise.
Illinois
dang man that was my favorite#1 type of tri-axle style gooseneck camper trailer.
Fifth Wheel.....not a goose neck.
@@MrPursuitElectronics that is a gooseneck dummy that's the style of the camper look it up😡😡😡😡😡😡
@@MrPursuitElectronics it is a ballpoint gooseneck or a fifth wheel gooseneck cuz if it's a fifth wheel gooseneck you can still hook up a gooseneck trailer to it on your bed of your pickup truck or flatbed truck same thing with a gooseneck style ballpoint hitch for Gooseneck trailers look it up
@@MrPursuitElectronics so it is a gooseneck cuz you can haul it by your dually axle pickup truck or a small flatbed truck.
Goose neck latches onto a ball pinned in the bed of the truck. A fifth wheel has a king pin that locks into the fifth wheel hitch. Two different hitches…dummy! I have the exact same trailer…just not a toy hauler!
Where do you get your music from?
where was this ?
Way to far away another station
looks like at least they were able to unhook from it assuming the semi tractor is what they were towing it with vs like a 1ton dually pickup
Unfortunately it looks like that isnt the case, you can tell at 27:31 that there are what looks to be 2 sets of wheels and the vehicle was burnt down to the chassis, the semi truck was most likely a passer by who called it in.
@@SlipKnotSlayer66 i thought that but couldn't really tell if that was like the front f the camper had dropped or if that was tow vehicle but that makes sense as to where the fire may have started
Why did the CAFS hose stream so choppy? Ours is a straight smooth water flow.
The foam and air was turned on in the wrong order so there was little to no foam in the line more air then anything.
Guess no units closer than 20miles.
What State are you located ?
No State police for traffic control ??
By the overhead sign I thought it was either Iowa or Illinois
@@johngrigsby6048 thanks !
Should make federal laws to where it should be illegal to pass any emergency vehicle enroute to a scene.
Some states/cities/counties do have a law where it is illegal to pass, but most don’t, a majority of fire trucks like tankers, engines, ladders, and rescues are governed at 60-65 so there is no point to make it a law due to speed limits in some areas being 70-80.
Bro who the hell uses a Q on the highway? Seriously it's for clearing traffic. No one is gonna hear it at highway speeds. Jesus christ man.
Because it can still help if someone does hear it, even by your logic it can’t hurt to use
Way too screaming Que happy…
Honestly so unneeded
That I can agree with
Someone doesn't know how to operate a Q siren properly
