It's not about not wanting to be sued they did it and they expect there to be some doubters so they videoed it and showed it.
Interesting. So in a custom scenario like this, giving the glue everything it needs to grip on, you were able to max it out at 3t. This actually shows pretty well how strong it can be outside of these conditions
does it? They didn’t give comparison of any other scenario,why would it?
Even if in normal conditions it maxes out at 1 ton, it’s still excessively strong for daily uses, a big plus from me

@@PomadaGaming they said specific detail tooling in the beginning, as well as gave examples how it would negatively affect adhesion. Had this just been two clumps of steel, it probably wouldn’t be the same

With ALL that prep, ordinary super glue would probably lift same amount.
Yet another lie from the flex seal family of products. If you pause the video you'll see that there are only about 90ish blocks and at 38lbs a block that's just under 3500 lbs and there's no way that little metal basket weighed over 2500 lbs!
if we could just glue parts together, we would bother with welding.
Notice how they lift it for only 10 seconds.
still impressive with the ammount of gluez even with a the setup. this just mean that on normal conditions this thing should hold more than enough for nearly everythinf that you SHOULD be using super glue for. dont tey welding car parts or actual housing structure or something.
There's always one 🤦♂️ The test was meant to be quick, they're not stating this is a permanent hold and 1 drop will continue to hold 3 tons like a weld. Anyone who would think that has a room temp IQ.

I love how phil swift always tapes and glues thin plastic boats together and sits in the back by the motor where weigh is not supported normally!! making him temporarily float just long enough to get a quick 3 second video!!
youre obviously not gonna sit directly where you put the tape, also if youre solo piloting a motored boat, you are gonna sit by the motor, its where the steering wheel is. you didnt quite get the point of the demonstration, also theres plenty of internet tests using what youre supposed to be using flex products for and they all legitimately perform great, but theyre obviously not a magic welding polimer that fixes everything, theyre just a high quality fixing adhesive.
