In this tutorial I made a mistake when I said the multiple was 5 plus the turning chain. In fact you can easily adjust the pattern, as long as the stitch count is an odd number plus 1 for turning. So for example the scarf in this tutorial has a starting chain of 26. The size of this scarf is 25 stitches across plus 1 for the turning chain.

Oh boy, I'll bet she just loves that! If she's anything like my cats then she can't wait to get it off. I'm sure it looks adorable though. I've been thinking about making a scarf for each of mine too.
Thank you Kristen! I've made several scarves with difficult patterns and none were as beautiful as this simple pattern.
Thank you Kristen. This is my second scarf i have made same pattern. I enjoyed . My hobby is crochet. ❤

I really appreciate your clear instructions along with close up pictures of where to insert your crochet hook. I don't always find that and it leaves me questioning exactly where to put my crochet hook I am a beginner. Nice video thanks
Thank you so much for such a lovely easy crochet child’s pattern scarf.
A friend gave me 3 bags of 50% Acrylic, 25% Alpaca, 25% wool in Turquoise, grey and pink.
So I’m making the scarfs in each colour with maybe hat to match for orphan children in Ukraine for Doctors with Borders Charity Organisation…🌺🌸😇

Thank you, I am going to make this scarf 💖
Very easy n beautiful green scurf
U have explained it so well. Thanks.
Great looking scarf. Just wish you had given us the length of the scarf and shown how you added the tassels.
Yes, how long did you make it? I watched twice because I thought I missed it the first time. Kind of important info. The tassels can be looked up, just a generic how to make tassels for a scarf video. I guess I'll have to look up how long to make a kids scarf, but it would've been nice if you had included that info for us.
is a very beautiful scarf. Thank you.
Thankyou, we can all understand because it's in English. Godbless you 🌹🌷
Nice shawl for your son looks lovely
Did a scarf with this, and it was good one. Thank you for the patterm
Mum,your scraf is very easy and beautiful।iwill try very soon thanku
I am a total novice but have just finished making this scarf following your video - thank you!
How much wool was required for this
Please tell me
In grams
I think I used 200g of cotton DK (4x 50g balls). I made it a bit wider than in the video but it wasn't particularly long. I'd have made it longer but I ran out.
Your pattern is so easy and your way is very good how to make scraff.

It's a bit wide for kids. I started over with less stitches hopefully it works since i dont know thevariables. Thank you for the pattern
How long did you make your scarf?
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for sharing this colour name
Thank uuuu😘
Beautiful! You're a great teacher! I would like to make a blanket with this! What is the multiples I should use to obtain the width of the beginning chain?
For a blanket I would say the multiple should be 15+1. I hope this helps.
@@kirstenredfieldcrafts7574 Thanks so very much ❣️
I would like to make this for my 2 1/2 yr old grandson. How wide and long would i make it?
So beautiful
please make on a video on how to make the tassels 🙏

Darn, I was hoping to see the tassel tutorial. The pattern is rockstar, THANK YOU! But, I’ve never made a tassel and need to get an idea about how much yarn it takes. Can you add a P.S. to your video? Haha. Thank you! 🤣👍
Me too
Love this pattern it was simple and looks good. Thank you for your very detailed instructions. Used black yarn!
Hi Kirsten thank you making this video. I am a complete newbie and I keep adding more stitches in my rows. It gets bigger and curvy all the time. Any suggestions please?
Count your stitches..you may be accidentally putting a stitch in the turning chain.
Lindo demais ❤🌷😘🥰👏👏
I.like.your.crochet.vidoes

Supurb dear

Hi..please show the video of doing tussels for scarf.
Beautiful how did you make the tassels please xx
How can I choose the right color ??
Vere nice
Thank you madam 😊
Can i use 3 or 3.5mm hook to make a scarf?
Thank you for this pattern! If I want to change colors, do I change at the end of the row where you chain one/skip one or the other row?
I would recommend changing colors on the double crochet row.
@@kirstenredfieldcrafts7574 I'm sorry, I'm a beginner- they are all dbl crochet rows...
I would change colors on the row without the chain one/ skip one.
@@kirstenredfieldcrafts7574 Thank you:)
Maravilhoso seus trabalhos parabéns 😘👏👏👏👏
Nice unisex lace scarf
As a beginner I've never done a double crochet. It was fast and blurry every time one was done. A bit frustrated.
I’m doing this scarf. Can you tell me Why my columns getting less and less as this scarf getting made?? Where and how I keep lost them !!! ?
