      Hi! Thank you! Yes, one of the main reasons we have this CZcams channel is so that we could one day look back on the memories and see how far we've progressed. Thank you for your support!! Means a lot 🦷👍🏻

    Sir will you own a private practice in future as a dentist and how much will it cost if you own a private practice? Plz reply. Thanks a lot.

    • @thedentalduo
      @thedentalduo  Před 11 měsíci +1

      Both Kathleen and I would love to open a practice together in the future. In terms of cost, again, it all depends on the situation. Some practices cost more in more desirable places, such as Miami, other practices cost less. Some people start their own practice from the ground up, some people buy an already functional practice with a patient base that might cost more. -Nico

    I didn’t realize based on the suture chicken video , you weren’t attending the same school

    • @thedentalduo
      @thedentalduo  Před rokem +1

      Yup, we’re attending different schools. We’re hoping to show unique content from both of our programs as we both get through dental school :)

    Sir and mam how much will be your dental student loans when you graduate from dental schools and how much will you earn as dentists? Plz reply. Thanks a lot.

    • @thedentalduo
      @thedentalduo  Před 11 měsíci +1

      Hey! That’s a tough questions to answer because there are many variables that determine those answers. Personally, I’ll graduate with around $200,000-300,000 in debt. However, if I attended my instate public school, it might have cheaper. The second question also varies. Assuming I don’t specialize, I could start working in private practice and make anywhere from $150k+/year. If I choose to work in a less desirable area, I could be making over $300k a year. If I choose to specialize I would be sacrificing more years to study but will be making more once I graduate. I’m open to all specialties and programs as of now so I can’t give you a definitive answer to your questions because it call all change. Hope this helps! -Nico

    Sir how much money does a private practice dental office produce a year and what is the overhead costs look like in USA? Plz reply. Thanks a lot.

    • @thedentalduo
      @thedentalduo  Před 11 měsíci +1

      These are all great questions but again, there are many factors that will cause variation. The types of procedures being done, location of the practice, hours of operation, etc. According to Google, the average dental practice in the US makes a gross revenue of $1.19 million a year. From my knowledge, practice owners take in around 40% of the practice so they’d be looking at over $400,000/year after overhead costs. Again, these are all estimations and there are many variables that can alter these numbers. I am also not sure how accurate these data findings are on Google. -Nico

    Hi! Are y’all living in student housing or did you each find independent apartment/roommates?

    • @thedentalduo
      @thedentalduo  Před 9 měsíci +1

      Hey! I am not sure if there is graduate housing available although I would assume there would be. However, we’re both living off campus with roommates. We found D1 dental roommates and are living 4-5 walking minutes away from our dental school.

    How much is the tuition fee

    • @thedentalduo
      @thedentalduo  Před 10 měsíci +1

      The tuition varies from year to year as well as it changes from D1-D4 year. For D1 year at Maryland out of state, tuition is $90,535 plus fees. Penn is $86,448 plus fees. You could see full pricing with fees and other costs on the schools website. Keep in mind, this doesn’t include housing, transportation, food, school fees, insurance, etc. Hope this helps!

    Sir will you do specialize in orthodontics and oral surgery in future? Plz reply. Thanks a lot.

    • @thedentalduo
      @thedentalduo  Před 11 měsíci

      Hey! I’m not sure yet to be honest. I’m open to all specialties and all possibilities. For now, I’m leaning more towards general dentistry but who knows. That might change once I start doing the procedures myself during dental school. -Nico
