I’m not sure that this is a German victory... Read 25.2 Automatic Victory. It states ‘Each space of the Turn Record Track has a benchmark...’ It then goes on: ‘The Soviet player wins automatically if he has six more points than the bench mark...’ and further, ‘The German player wins automatically if the Soviet player is at least six points short of his benchmark...’ ‘Play continues if neither player has an Automatic Victory.’ In this case the game would continue as the Soviet player has more than 2 VPs. Shame, as I was really enjoying this excellent playthrough.
Hi Counter Attack! Do you have heard of the game 'No Retreat: The Russian Front'? It's a very simple combat factor hex game, covering the entire Eastern Front of WW2. Special about that game is that you can not only attack, but also can put a counterblow marker on one of your units. Your enemy has to attack those units. This represents distracting attacks that divert attack strenght from your enemies real targets. It's top 1 listed in several top 10 Eastern Front wargames. Maybe something to play through on your channel?
Ha ha! Yeah I know. They have launched some attacks - turns 1 and 2 or so. But now I feel attacking is just throwing away defense strength. I tend to be defensively minded.
More operational East Front combat to come, hopefully.
I have a long list of games to make videos for. I think maybe after 2 non-EF games I'll go east again.

Thanks for the clarification. When I played this, I did intend to play the 7 turn scenario. So maybe it was a draw?

I own it and I will add it to the list of play throughs to produce!
Units cannot enter or crosse Enemy ZOC bond. So your 5 Shock army was wrong. They cannot move to 5224 hex. :D. It seems error play.
Is this the turn were a German attack occurs? LOL

@@CounterAttack They still won so I guess it worked out for them in the end. :)
@@mister2628 germans won, even as the dice rolls went well for the russians. hm...
