Dr Kakuti was my biggest inspiration. She walked with me through my pregnancy and stood by me when my new born was sick...God bless you Daktari

These kind of stories on strict parentage are so important. So so Important.

Wow, you've told your story so well. You've reminded me of my late sister Rozzie who didn't live to her fullest because she had to take care of us. She died before she fully lived because she always treated us like babies, her babies. Fly away butterfly

At least your mum acknowledged what she had done. Most parents never entertain the subject or will have an excuse.
My sister and mums relationship is a rocky one. It blows hot and cold. It takes a toll as I am the peace maker.
    All the best.

Wow, Dr. Kakuti you are a strong woman. How sad it is when we fail to live to our full potential out of fear and intimidation

I did the same thing you did when my mum died 16yrs ago i.e taking the responsibility that my mum had. Then i realized that i was not my mum. Thank you for sharing.

I just remembered you (my first born is also called Mutindi) and goggled you and this is what came first. I love this Dr.. I feel bad that you lost your job at MP shah since you were my gyna in Jan 2019....you made the labour room fun to be in despite the pain I had. Keep soaring girl

Thank you for the talk. It resonated with me and let me know that it is ok not to feel a sense of responsibility for others. It’s time to be self-full❤️
