There only 18 months old as a band although there all very experienced and came together initially to support the singer Mayu for some live gigs and it just clicked .As a guitarist you will love this ban there two of the best right now in Japan right hand as you look is Saki (involved in other bands and solo work)and she is guitar royalty in Japan and left is Hazuki who plays with LisaX .Oiran filmed in there practise room shows off some amazing guitar work +they have a how to video for that one as well .Very divers in songs from super heavy to more rock/pop but all with Killer guitar drums bass and vocal work .They have the potential to be as big as the others, unsigned doing it themselves .

you have reached the top . these ladies are the most well rounded group ive listened to and ive been listening to Japanese music for many years! as there may be more "popular" bands....and i do love other bands . but there is something special with these ladies....each member is amazing. you listen to their other tracks you will see and get different vibes from every track ! they are not limited to sound or style or look! i would suggest listen to their song LIFE to see a great contrast to Dissension ! then listen to Monsters....then Sorai ! just to see how they dont limit themselves ! and they play 7 string guitars ...another thing not very common ! that adds even more flavor 😎

Another Japanese band for you. They are female fronted, they started of doing songs from a video game called Touhou, but now do a lot of their own thing. They also are a collection of some of the best Japanese musicians, and are sort of a supergroup. They tend to hit like a speeding freight train and just not stop.

The 4 instrumentalists made a sub-group called Quadratum and have covered Yngwie, Dream Theater, Racer-X, Steve Vai and have a violin cover of Eruption. Their violinist Jill has stolen my heart even more than Miyako ever did.
I will say they are my favorite now! You could check out their other originals like Oiran, Raitei or their ballad Life. They also do covers that range from Pop to Rock to Metal that they just have so much fun doing! My favorite covers are Make You Happy shows a completely different side of Mayu's voice and Linkin Park's Given Up. Thank you for reacting to this video.
BAND-MAID is the top notch of the female rock band. Nemophila and LOVEBITES are the same in the female metal band.

Nemophila were founded in 2019. There are a supergroup composed of:
Mary's Blood guitarist Saki
ex-Lipstick vocalist Mayu
ex-Disqualia guitarist Hazuki (also plays with Lisa-X)
ex-Hölderlins bassist Haraguchi-san, and
ex-Soramimi drummer Muratatam (also does other projects)
Other than Saki, none of them had previously been with a breakout band, despite having amazing chops. Getting these five together did the trick-they are just exploding.
Initially, they were just a side project, co-organized by Saki and Mayu. They started off posting metal covers of well-known rock, pop and metal songs. Nemophila are pretty diverse. Their track Life is an awesome rock song, Monsters is a bit of metal fun, Oiran is a slap in the face modern metal track, Raitei is some fast paced treat but none of these is very similar to another although they all sound like Nemophila. That's a pretty good trick to be honest. I love band-Maid but they are suffering a little bit from "sameness" at the moment, IMO.
I'm very excited to dig into more from them! I like when bands change up their sound.

You should check out rolling quartz too. They're a Korean rock band, not as heavy but still amazing band.
Blaze is their first big release. They just released a mv for good night a dream catcher cover they did.
They have really good originals and covers they've done.
Nemo and RQ are definitely my 2 favorite bands right now.
Dissension was the first song I heard from Nemo and wasn't really a big fan either, you really have to listen to more from them. Dissension is not the song I would pick to represent them.
Mayu has an amazing voice when actually singing lol and the rest of the girls are extremely skilled, some of the best in Japan

The guitarist to our right is named Saki. Search her name on CZcams if you want to see one of the best metal guitarists anywhere not just in Japan. Thanks for this awesome review of a band that is finally getting some major exposure from reactors. Try their cover of Iron Maiden's "The Trooper" or their song Oiran which is pretty hard but not as hard as this. You can also check out Saki in her other band, Mary's Blood. There are a lot of live videos of them, but the sound quality alway sucks compared to their official videos. Their song "Marionette" is good to catch some Saki shreds. She records lead and rhythm for studio versions. There is a music professor named Yashiro who plays rhythm when the band performs live.
Fun fact: the screamo lyrics are in english.
