Imagine if firearm ownership was heavily regulated in all states and if the citizens were willing to reduce their "freedom" a little to abolish illegal weapons, as it is in other highly developed countries. The US would've been as safe as the UK, Canada, Australia, Japan, South Korea, etc. Children could walk and play outside in big cities without having to worry about stray bullets

You give an inch they take mile, give up certain freedom's give us a break! Oh by the way those countries you mentioned they don't use gun's the use knife's & machetes!

@@thomasreeter583 Based on the data from UNODC in 2020, the intentional homicide victim rate per 100,000 inhabitants is 6.3 in the US, 1.95 in Canada and it is just 1.2 in the whole UK. This means people in the US are SIX times as likely as the ones in the UK to be the victims

That's not going to happen. At this point it's a lost cause.

How about illegal guns. More people die from illegal fire arms.

@@Cluedin369 Violent criminals stole legal weapons from pawnshops/ [chuting] range/ stores/ the owners and some of them bought it from unlicensed makers. Extreme accessibility of firearms in the US is a double-edged sword and it's like a chicken & egg situation, because weapon thefts are rampant
