Oh man, I remember one of these animated stories on here involving that.
Said girl had "tearfully confessed" to her bf to cheating on him (with the exact same "funny guy" whom had bragged to her bf's face about getting his girl beforehand), her bf got turned into a laughing stock because of it, but thankfully later *she got cheated on by him* with another girl. She did try messaging her then ex-bf but he blocked her number unable to forgive her. Sure it didn't end with the girl being homeless, but it was still karma. And all she had to do was just "stick by him" and she wouldn't have gone through that.

I have heard two similar stories from people I used to call friends:
1) a woman thought her man was cheating on her with a bimbo, and found out that the bimbo has a boyfriend, so decided to return the favor.... Only to find out the "bimbo" and her now ex were cousins. (He thought it was odd she would always make an excuse when he tried to introduce them.)
2. A guy found out his wife was cheating on him and decided to handle his feelings at a bar... Ended up waking up in a stranger's place with a woman making him breakfast. The wife uses this to file for divorce and he starts drinking his hurt away. He goes back to the bar only to discover the woman was the bartender/owner who had the bouncer help him to the bar's loft (to prevent employees sleeping at the wheel) and she had only gotten up there minutes before to check up on him before she went home.
Not only was this provable, but being an awesome lady, she actually came across the wife's side hustle and flirted with him so well she got him to admit the affair and to break it off. Apprerantly her brother had gone through something similar.

In the last story, I get that she is lonely and everything and can't hold her urge to be loved but cheating on her husband, using his money, inviting him to their home, get matching tattoos, and talk about baby and shit... Wow.. That's not just cheating.. That's disrespectful, disgusting, and dumb.

They say that cheaters never prosper. Maybe it should be âCheaters never should double-cross OP.â in these stories.
The better line to use is "if you have that much to hide, don't make enemies." D!ck could have just saved his ass hell's worth of trouble had he *just paid OP* as he should have in the first place.
Sure it's used regarding corrupt businesses and business owners and such, but it can just as well apply here.

Dick was probably on a tight leash. Chances are he had a budget since the wife was the one with money. If his business was closed and his wife was one of the investors, her putting a limit on his access to her money makes perfect sense for a good investor-he was a bad investment. If she had allowed him free reign, his lack of business sense would be detrimental to their financial security. Unfortunately, Dick was also dumb, don't cheat on the money. That's just stupid.
Will never understand why someone would cheat on a person who is deployed. When that gravy train stops and tosses you on your butt don't be surprised if you land in the $#ÂĄ| you created.

Having been in the service myself (US Navy 1974 -1980) stories like this happen all too often. Sometimes it's the wife/girlfriend, sometimes the husband/boyfriend, sometimes both. Whatever the details it rarely works out well. I was one of the lucky ones, neither of us strayed or wanted to but saw to many others that did.
There are two words that anyone - ANYONE - should not forget. One is KARMA and the other is CONSEQUENCES.

Since US bills have two words on each "(Number) Dollars" and he got $1500, I guess this picture was worth 3000 words for OP, and at least the sum of the woman's assets. (Hard to ask for your 50% when there is a string of evidence leading to unfaithfulness and misappropriation)

Baseball boss story is very reminiscent of the airline that had a "Fly your wife for free" promo. Having sent letters to the Mrs. thanking her, they got numerous replies saying "What flight!?!" Ooops.
Paying employees what they are owed is a first obligation. Right up there with paying your house payment or rent . If you don't pay your employees, you won't have them for long. They *HAVE* to be paid. They have rent and other obligations that they are required to meet. Being a manager is a very responsible position due to the fact that you hold the lives of others in your hands. I had a boss who tried to pull this trick. After 3 days of not being paid, I just didn't show up. She called me and asked why I wasn't there. I told her that if I'm not getting paid I won't work. She started on about bills and what she owed. I stopped her in mid sentence and said, "None of that is my fault. I have to have my money. I have bills to pay as well and I can't do that if you don't pay me. When you have the money, give me a all and I'll be in ready for work. Just as soon as I get my money." She said, "You're really putting me in a bind." to which I replied "Welcome to the world. You've already put me in a bind." Tomorrow I start looking for work. Unless you have my money." Suffice it to say, she had my money within 2 hours and I worked the rest of that shift.
Wife in last story deserved it, and she still wanted him to bail her out

Listening to revenge stories makes me happy
You would think that getting it on with others behind their SO's back whilst they're elsewhere (i.e. deployed) is never what one would have rationally called "finding themselves" by any stretch of the definition. Guess that woman in that last story was dumber than the OP thought she was.
I was deployed to Iraq, 2005 - 2007. The amount of cheating that was going on with the married soldiers that I was deployed with was ridiculous but I was to find out on returning that the amount of infidelity from the spouses back home was equal to it. Most of the married soldiers I was deployed with were divorced few months after we returned home. For my part, my divorce was finalized literally the day before we shipped out in 2005, so it was a relief. Then and now I have absolutely no interest in having another relationship with anyone. Alone, not lonely, and life is good, drama free and peaceful.
Cheating on someone who is risking their lives overseas is so shit. The worst type of person does that.
For that last story, i only have 1 thing to say: Too Little, Too Late.

Having friends do dine and dash is not cool. That hurts more than just the wait staff, it hurts the whole restaurant and other innocent employees who work there, and a restaurant is very often a struggling business as it is without having to deal with that extra problem. It's also theft and illegal, equivalent to stealing merchandise from a retail store.

Reminds me of the time my now ex husband took another woman to a football game the day after I witnessed a tragic death. He sent my mother pictures of the tickets and of the stadium and assumed I wouldn't find it.

Back in 91,92 time frame I don't remember, I accidentally did something similar. It involved three coworkers, two guys and a woman. The woman would flirt with one guy so I thought they were together or at least interested. So first guy was out a few days and came back and I mention to the second guy the woman will be happy to see him... Turned out she was having an affair with the second guy, not dating the first guy and was also married to another guy who did not work at our job. Anyway the second guy confronted his girlfriend and then she was wonder what in the hell happened and he told her it was me who said something. The first guy and woman confront me and I was confused as hell! I made an innocent comment and all this shit came out. đ
.... So the second guy was miffed that the cheating wife wasn't being faithful to him. Must have been his first rodeo.

I agree, its very rare for a cheater to change their behavior and become faithful to their new lover. Eventually the excitement and novelty of the new person wears off, they run into the same normal relationship problems, and seek a new outlet for excitement with a new person.
A cheater is a cheater. If you get with someone whoâs okay with you guys cheating, theyâll cheat on you later.

The revenge was watching ex-wife drown in her own misery: she lost the loving husband, lost her main source of income and is now stuck with an abusive man who beats her and cheats on her.
Even if op didn't take pro revenge he did cut off his income to her which now she has nothing left.
