Carmen is the sweetest, most considerate bride I’ve seen on this show. That last dress was gorgeous, and within her budget.
She really is a sweetheart; yet at age 39, 3rd wedding, employed, and letting her mom pay for her dress? Why, why, WHY?

She probably could have afforded a much more expensive dress, but her mother wanted to pay for it and she wanted to give her the pleasure of doing so. She was considerate and stayed within the budget that she felt was reasonable for her mother to afford.
For goodness sake, a white wedding dress for a third marriage? Perhaps she should spend more time working on self and finding the right man.

It's utterly unprofessional and disrespectful to clients to keep showing dresses two to three times the budget. I'd fire that consultant in a country minute.

The first bride was such a breath of fresh air! I can't understand why the stylist would bring most of the dresses that were above her budget. It seemed that the more expensive they were, the less I liked them (not based on the price, but how they looked). I am so glad that she found a beautiful dress and below her budget!

When I had a formal wedding, I have a color and asked each person to choose the appropriate range in that color to match their undertones and something they either had or would wear again. They were ALL unique and beautiful. Because I felt they were all great people and would nit do something inappropriate. It worked wonderfully and no one outshined the bride.
That was thoughtful.
My brother’s fiancé is doing the same thing. We are all in shades of teal-peacock blue but picking our own dresses. She approved them all, but we chose and paid for them. Mine is very cottagecore, and I can’t wait to wear it to the wedding and other formal events. I don’t really have any nice dresses :)
When I helped my Granddaughter find her Wedding Dress, my adrenaline was so out of control. I was so happy and excited. The store was understaffed and I was helping other brides as well with their dresses and suggestions. They seriously asked me if I would consider coming to work for them . I would love to, I'd work/ help for the great feeling and happiness of others, not money., but can't see well enough to drive at night,( night blindness), and it was a long drive. ( I'm 69!). If only I had ever been that excited when I was getting married. Sure made me think. To late now. But, if a Bride isn't excited, she best wait. Wait for true love , trust, happiness, the Forever.

Am basically on the brides side but she, herself, came off as so unnecessarily rude when speaking to the 2 bridesmaids. She would come off better if she could smile , be firm but nice when explaining her position. She came off as unpleasant rude person to me.

Go with the brides black choice for dress, red for shoes... can add additional color with red lipstick, red nail polish, red hair piece, dip the ends of hair in red dye... Sooooo many choices & still respect the bride!

The brides budget was $3,000 and the sales associate showed her dresses way above her budget. Does the associate work on a commission base because she is not really showing concern for the customer.
She is not a very good salesperson, I find her very unprofessional. Sometimes she talks back to the bride's entourage and gets between their conversations.

I agree, but in another episode she overheard some clients calling her out that she wasn’t showing her face to them. So, she made it a point to show her face. Also, I agree the whole fakery of her compliments, but if you ever worked in retail or when you go to a clothing shop the sales associates will address you with enthusiasm (and yes most of the time it’s fake). I have had to fake being excited, simply because some days I just wasn’t having a good day.
I don't believe for a minute that they don't have dresses under $5000 that are probably a lot prettier than the ones the first lady was trying on. It looked like she was stuck in the 80's.
The dress that she chose was only $2,800. Who said they didn't have anything for less than $5,000?

Sharae needs to be more considerate regarding budget. Her approach to selling pricey dresses has been very tacky in this episode and others. Love the new do. though. Very much less tacky.
