WooCommerce Add Purchase Note

This tutorial is on WooCommerce and how to add a Purchase Note so that the customer receives extra information about a product but only after purchase.
By using a Purchase Note you can add an extra link, some extra information about a product or even a special code.

Finally, I have been looking for a way to sell a virtual product which is a website link and a password, but did not know how to automate the process so that the URL link and password is sent to the buyer after purchase. This is clearly the way. Am I right Sven?

Here you go! www.woocommerce.com/products/follow-up-emails/ you'll be able to send custom different emails at different times based on many possible settings. :)

You never need to go near the code/files. You create the templates for the email in the actual WordPress editor : woocommerce.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/create-an-email.png . you can add in HTML and different layouts/text to your liking.
