I agree with you again. I hope we have a big gap now before Royal Mint issue even more coins. I am not going down the route of buying Silver proof coins or gold coins. I feel i am in the 5.00 coin trap now. Almost wish i had not started on these. Far too many of these are getting issued. I dont even like the Tudor Beast series but buying them to keep my collection up to date. I have only been collecting a few years and there are other coins i would like to back fill in my collection. Eg Territory 2 pounds. Also, i think the latest Harry Potter design is too busy and looks better and more defined in the colour version. Rant over again. 😂😂
Thank you for showing 'the winged key' coins as i wondered whether the design was matched to the obverse as mine was not, but yours proove it is not and therefore it is not rare!
I gave up with the royal mint, its just quantity over quality most of the designs aren't great and when they are theres always a problem either with quality control or shipping delays
Some amazing looking coins do love them but at the Royal Mint prices and just number of coins being released I have given up buying them just have to watch your videos and look on with envy
Some nice pick ups. However i don't agree with what you said of the Millenium Falcon coloured 50p, "its not too gimicky". The whole coin is gimicky. The whole idea of knocking out another 4 Star Wars coins and another 4 Harry Potter coins is a complete cop out on part of the RM. What has happened to the coins going into circulation celebrating our inventors, momentus occasions and dates etc. I just dont get why they are pushing this stuff onto us. They are also not even releasing any of them into circulation as theres no money in it for them for us to collect by finding them, which is what we all enjoy and id say why the majority of us watch your channel. Its now just endless gimicky releases only available to buy. The fact of the matter is, since the Pride 50p, weve had only the memorial one and the coronation one as commoratives in over 18 months. The salmon 50p doesnt count as its definitive. I love star wars, but after 4 on coins and aleady 4 Harry Potters from 2023, they need to get back to producing some educating and intriging coins that they release into circulation. Its become buy buy buy. You said it yourself a year or so ago about the Star Wars coins and your concern about where this is going and im afraid, its gone!
I can't go on collecting 50p's any longer that are not in circulation for this reason, theyve just become both lazy and greedy, its a such a shame. My collecting now will consist of the £2 coins, in circulation that im yet to find in my change.

I can't afford the silver proofs or gold sliver versions of these coins. I've only got a few silver proofs, but they are beautiful.

I totally agree with you about the Royal mint. Like you i am a collector of coins, and i tend to buy too much. If only the Royal mint could spread the releases of new products over a longer period. I don't have DEEP POCKETS.
