I did street team at the 2003 Warped Tour and met him. Amazingly nice, down to earth guy like you said. During the show he got in a car with some fans and went to 7-11. It cause a mini panic from his manager because Andrew didn't tell him. After every band left, Andrew stayed and hung out with about 5 of us for 45 minutes. Taking pictures, chatting. He truly was the life of the party and stayed and partied until the very end.

I have a funny story about meeting Andrew W.K. I was at Warped Tour walking from one end to the other when I saw Andrew W.K. walking towards me. I said "Hey, Andrew", he reached out and shook my hand, but instead of stopping to chat Andrew just kept walking in the opposite direction.
How is that funny? You said hey Andrew and he acknowledged you.

Been on stage with him twice, had my arm around him as we jumped up and down and sang. Crowd-surfed off said stages. Best concerts in my life.

Dude did a radio contest in DC prob 2002,3 and either never left or kept hanging out. I was recently released from Walter Reed still recovering and figuring out what my life would look like. I ran into him in a random bar he just appeared at, not performing and I was like you’re f’n awesome. Dude found out I was a wounded soldier. Paid our bill and yelled no you’re f’n awesome. And then talked to me about coming to grips with my new health limitations. Will always respect him for that.

He has 2 children from his previous marriage, but protective of their privacy, so he doesn't talk about them publicly. How sweet. To me, that's what I find sexy in a man, even if I'm not a fan. Their privacy is probably for the best right now (until they're old enough) because what their Dad does for a living can be controversial, which could make them targets.

It wasn't quite clear what we would be doing, but Dave basically said I was allowed to do anything I wanted. They had a keyboard for me to play, a mic to sing into, and said we could just play some songs and have fun together. Naturally, I accepted.
