Hi Luciano Martinez. Thank you so much for your comment and support. Also I fully agree with you. PES dribbling is the most difficult part for me as well. As many gaming critics said, PES is a simulation game. In real-life soccer game, defenders try their best to suppress opponents' space and make most of dribbling unbearably difficult. In modern soccer, team-work via passing is the main-stream. My personal opinion is that PES intentionally manipulate the stats to discourage dribbling so that it makes PES gameplay look more like modern soccer game -- passing and teamworks are the major content of the games. However, even in modern soccer era, we still have many dribbling geniuses such as Neymar, Messi, etc. Without these dribbling geniuses, modern soccer would become boring. So, if PES is a successful simulation game, PES users should be able to study those geniuses' dribbling and apply their methods in PES to overcome stats issues. That's my purpose to create those videos. I wish my videos can justify that PES is a good simulation game. And most importantly, I wish my videos can help friends like you to enjoy PES gameplay AND save time on the process of experimenting. Cheers
@@pistachiopablo6739 Yes bro. The key reason to leave a very short time interval between directional stick and spring button is that it allows me to do some body feint, which makes dribbling more unpredictable for the defenders. For example, if I want to move to opponents right, I would friendly touch direction stick towards left first, and then push to right plus R1 (the spring button). Body feint will cause the defender hesitate, and give me more chance to escape from him by dribbling. cheers

I mentioned R2 in a couple of videos, such as How to get a penalty and today's video I am going to post (at the very end, I simply use R2 change direction to pass goalkeeper.) Currently, I don't have a specific video on how to use R2 for dribbling. But I will post in the future for sure. Cheers
Yeah good video. I use your trick at 1.25 too😊😊 In my opinion, dribbling in pes is good but not excellent. Sure, you need to choice the right time to accelerate (es double R1 at right time) and change direction but sometimes defenders are too strong and they haven't any inertia. I am not saying that dribbling is awful, but it needs little some implements. For me stats are the main problem. Konami should recalibrate some stats numbers.
Hi Michele Bavaresco, thank you for your support and comment. Really appreciate that. I agree with you 100%. By the way, double R1 is definitely one of the most effective dribbling in PES. I like to use that as well. There is one tip I would like to share with you, which is, R1 is not only a speed up button, but also it is a kind of brake button like the brake in car race game. Once you release left stick, the player's speed gets slow down. If you hold R1 (arpeggio) alone, it will make your player fully stop and step the ball towards goal keeper. If you staccato push R1 and then double press R1 plus left stick, the player will decelerate first (but not fully stop) and then accelerate again and make an explosive running. This kind of changing pace will make your defenders difficult to predict your dribbling. I hope this tip could mitigate Konami stats issue a little bit. Cheers

My personal opinion is that R2 is more related to shooting and long ball passing. I saw some CZcamsrs saying that R2 can help receive the ball smoothly. I think the accurate short pass is more important. If the situation doesn't allow to receive the short pass, I would choose different options -- for example long ball pass and to chest the ball. Hello my friend. Welcome back. On 1:24, I use double touch (la croqueta). Successful la croqueta requires good sense of distance. On 1:24, the defender press R2 to approach me (based on my experience, I can tell the defender press R2). Therefore his movement is pretty slow (close to be static). I actively approach to him then use la croquet. Because defender press R2, when I am close to him, he automatically try to block me. Actually, you can test it in your gameplay. when you defend, try to press R2. Once you press R2, no matter how you move your player, he always faces the opponent who has the ball. When the opponent is close to you, your player will automatically blocks him. R2 can lock your player's balance. It will make your player stable and secure certain range of area. The drawback of R2 is that defender with R2 moves extremely slow, and easily be passed by. Hence, once you can tell your opponent using R2, you can use la croqueta to beat him. (actually there are many ways to beat the defender. la croqueta is one of the most effective way) Cheers!
@@PESManual thank you very much for replying !! but as I tested Messi's dribbling I noticed that a few times the defender didn't stop and therefore wasn't static. what should I do in this situation?
@@mp57mp Not a problem my friend! If the defender didn't stop, it means the defender press square (shoot button) and X (pass button) together.
